Thanks for this. I recently moved house and the mechanism was a mystery to me and the seat had worked loose. Now it's all tightened up and as good as new. Cheers!
Easy to install, ru-vid.comUgkxjA-hDN2m8_mi0Dg0JD8U6QiArozIAc4I and comfortable. No idea what other people were talking about when they said it was difficult to install or uncomfortable.
mine, when closed, has an 1.5 inch gap before it touched the toilet bowl. So when you're sitting, it's almost forcing the toilet seat down. I'm not sure how to fix that. I'm worried it's putting extra force onto the seat in the down position.
I know it's been awhile since this post was posted, so I hope someone is monitoring the comments. i was wondering if there is any way to repair the pump cylinders if they get worn and no longer perform as they did when we purchased our slow close seat? Is it possible to adjust the old cylinders? or if not, Is it possible to get new cylinders? or is it not worth the time, so just buy a new seat?
I have a Pressalit seat - the lid has always closed very slowly but the seat itself does not. The seat doesn’t slam it just closes *a lot* faster. What could the issue be? Thanks in advance.
Your video doesn't shows how the damper soft close is been remove. Removing the toilet cover from the tpilet bowl is easy to understand. Could you show a more detail video in removing TOTO old soft close cylinder, please
@ Todd ] You have posed a very good question on behalf of finding a valid answer for repairing the worn out soft Close hinges on a toilet seat. I too have run into this impasse & am wondering if you have successfully fixed the soft Close components on your toilet seat ? Or did you just buy a new toilet seat ? please inform me on the route you have taken .. Thank you
When you get to the critical bit, you get your hands in the way. Hopeless. Don't you look back at your video before posting? A common error with RU-vid videos.
