Today freddy shows you how to change and install extended or longer wheels studs for wheel spacers. After increasing the steering angle of the supra, the wheels hit the sway bar. In order to correct this, Freddy installed wheel spacers which require longer wheel studs which he shows how to install.

much better opening. Also a c clamp and a large socket will press them out. to press in simply get enough stuff to fit over the stud and use your trusty clamp to press in

I couldn't agree more with your statement: "Every single thing I do to this car, something is in the way." Having owned 3 different mk3's over the last 10 years, I can vouch for you on this one and say you are speaking the truth. I love these cars, but man are they awful to work on sometimes.

wouldn't have this problem with hubcentric spacers which are better for the mk3 anyway;)

Would it ever be necessary to run longer wheel studs just by using different wheels? I bought some rotiforms from a coworker that he had on his impreza wagon and Iʻm going to put them on my forester but haven't had a chance to fit them up yet

I have a Subaru Vivio and I've been looking for extended studs for ages, but can't seem to find the size of my studs. Does there is an universal stud size? Do you know a place to get them for cheap :) thnx in advance!

peper0nipizza should be able to get longer studs at either at a good auto parts store that sales lots of after market stuff.. or a tire shop that does stud replacement...

idk i'm from America so they are a dime a dozen and can cost any where from 20 to 100 dollars depends on what you get and what your bolt pattern is... you might be able to order some off line some where

Josh O. i got them off ebay, i dont remember the specs, they are just extended studs for a 1988 supra

How to get wheel studs off if the lug nuts will not break lose? Last shop over tightened the lug nuts.

@@PoorManMods tried with a 5ft breaker bar and used a air gun that is rated at 1900ft/lb in reverse. Using a lug extractor and no dice.

just so you know the way you put them in is completely wrong... just use an air hammer with a flat bit and just press in with air hammer... if you don't want to take apart to press in.... the way you did it can mess threads of stud and the teeth on stud that hold stud stationary to your hub... wouldn't ever do it the way you just did it...
