Teri Snyder You can take your used oil and filter to your local auto parts store. Autozone or a tire shop will take the oil away for you. Make sure the shop complies with the states regulations for recycling oil.
I'm planning on changing the oil in a few days, and while you use 5W 30, my owners manual for this engine says 5W 40. Is there any difference between the two that is particularly crucial? (excellent vid btw)
The only difference is that 5w 40 is better suited for warmer temperatures. If you live in a hot climate than 5w40 is better. 5w30 is better in ‘normal’ weather conditions.
@@tomsgaragefix1004 Yeah what in the wide wild of sports is going on with that? Do you have some comments why it burns it? I have a 4 cyl camry and that thing never ever needs a top of. Thanks.
I have a 2003 sedan GLX V6 4motion with a transmission fluid leak and it's not the red color. It's a looks like a light clear brown. It's leaking from the passenger side behind oil pan large plastic cover. Do you have any diagnostics and price range for some of the possible repairs please? Thank you or cheers mate.
PszemoI The reason I used an impact socket with my hand tool is because I didn't have the correct size socket in my tool box. I had the correct size socket with my impact driver set so I was able to get the bolt off.
when i opened my oil cap, there was a piece of metal obstructing the way, i couldnt insert the funnel. i managed to pour in the oil without making a mess, but what is that piece of metal?
