How is that cheating? This is how it's pretty much done conventionally. I saw a pottery video where the guy has specific cutouts so that the sides of the clay are always consistent shape and angle, is that also cheating? They make like 200-300 plates/ cups/ saucers a day in his shop and he gets orders from restaurants to make matching sets.
I don't know I still think pressing down with your forearm still yields quicker results and you don't have to make a slab first. Interesting way to do it though
PLEASE make more content out of this!!!! I’d love to see you take it off the wheel and then decorate it. If you did, my bad I just haven’t found the video yet ☺️
Dont forget to thin with your various sized ribs and wood knifes. Well thats kinda hard for a quick tip but it makes your stuff feel so much more professional.
A trick that I learned was to center a puck on the wheel, and the use a wide pbc pipe to smush it down flat. Basically the same possess after that, but you don't need a slab roller
The videos are dope, but you feel like the icrarly villain named neville. I’d love to see some of your personality in the videos because it feels like a copy paste of other RU-vidrs getting close up and trying to keep it fast like dangling keys in front of little kids who don’t have a concept of object permanency. I like the content and you seem like a guy figuring his channel out, so I can’t wait to see where you take things. Please keep creating
