I am working on Audi A4 B8 MULTITRONIC Gearbox in order to do ATF Oil Fluid Level Check. The same or similar rule will apply to Audi S-Tronic Gearbox, DSG Transmission and other Automatic Gearbox ATF System Type. Audi A4 B8 contains Mechatronic Unit- Achilles Heel. I have used ATF Fluid Oil from Volkswagen. 2 Clutch System. Dual Clutch. Mechatronic unit is control part for Dual Clutch System, that requires regular oil change. Failure can result in oil overheating and damaging clutch.
