How to Check Oil Level in Your Car (THE RIGHT WAY) 

How to Check Your Oil Level and Read Your Dipstick on your car for the first time. What the marking on your dipstick mean. The Step by Step process on how to check your engine oil level on your car using the dipstick and explaining what the marks on the dipstick mean.
Before you get started on checking your engine oil level in your car, you must park your car on a level ground to give you an accurate reading on your dipstick. Also let your car engine cool down before attempting to check the engine oil so to avoid hot oil and components burning you by accident.
Once you have checked your dipstick and it shows on the markings that it is low, then you will need to top up the engine with the correct engine oil for your car. It is important to top up oil with a small amount then recheck the dipstick oil level to see. If you need more engine oil, then repeat the process adding a small amount of engine oil until the the engine oil is closer to the max on your dipstick markings, but not over the max markings.
When finished topping up your engine oil, put the dipstick back in its place and refit the engine cap and close the bonnet.
