How to check Porsche oil level 

For those having trouble checking the oil after popping the hood you need to drive the car about 6 miles and then you can re-check the oil level with the engine running.

And how do you check the quality of the oil visually? It sucks that there's no dipstick to do that.

It's funny how everyone thinks it's that simple to check the oil. Read your owner's manual to understand why I said that. Especially in Porsche.
