Thanks for sharing this mate, I always wanted to know how to do that, used to have a DRZ400E many years ago, now have a Vstrom 1000 might have to check the clearances on that one day, what a PITA to get to the motor on them though uggh

Drz400s vs Dr650 for adjustment ease, and put at least 50k miles?

Im going to assume the dr650.. even the power curve lends it to being an all around tractor

How did you unstick the crank shaft plug? Looked like you may have drilled some extra holes?

Hi there, I used a centre punch and hit it around the edge the way that you would undo it, doesn’t take much to crack it. Cheers.
