How to Cheese Mad Clown Puppet in Lies of P (Easy Kill)

Mad Clown Puppet is one of the hardest bosses in Lies of P and after dying countless times I found a cheese strategy to easily kill him without having to fully engage him and lead him to his death. The video explains how to cheese him.

This merchant almost feels like a mistake in the game, lol. He's the only merchant that lets you buy unlimited items from and just really lets you pile up. Best of luck on the rest of the game!

If he follows you up to the stargazer, just do a loop down the stairs back, and come up again while sprinting. You can enable the stargazer before he is back in the area and disables it.

If you use a longer weapon, you can keep circling the two benches and get a shot after every spin move. If done right, you only ever have to worry about the red move.

without having seen ur vid, I had ended up concluding with the same cheesing strategy. My materials were fire, electric and cluster bombs. Plus I had the Falcon Eyes legion arm equipped so even when I ran out of things to throw, I could still shoot at him from a safe distance. One of my fire bombs staggered him and I was lucky enough to be able to get a fatal attack as well near the end. Glad to be over and done with that one.

If you go to that same area their is a area to the right that’s a green patch shaped like a square an a statue in the middle lure him their an the statue blocks his long punch an you can hit him going around the square then dodge around an basically keep going around in a square an hit him once an move to me this was the hardest fight after pretty smooth sailing at the start incredibly difficult for me but this formula worked for me motivity build with the bone saw blade

If you are good at blocking the charged red attack, you can use the grinder thing from a distance that will make the AI always do that punch. Block it and keep doing it until stagger windows show up. Takes practice but it’s free

I used something even more simple. In this area, before you reach the puppet with a flame gun that has its back to you, if you turn right, you'll find a stair that you can drag the clown and hit it through the rails in a similar fashion to that boss in Bloodborne. Glascoine if i remember right

The electric effect increases physical and electric damaged while triggered so the shot put, buzz saw, and pipe are best. Also shot put can trigger the stun effect so you can get a fatal hit in as well.

Hey bruv! Nice to see you’re still doing strategy videos and calling them cheeses when they are actual strategies! lol. You’re so modest! 😉. I came here cause I was getting chewed up by this joker when I got up close so I looked for other strategies and found another one of your videos. Can’t remember which DS game I was using your videos on but you were showing legit strategies that worked like clockwork. This time I used your strategy with falcon eyes and I only needed one heal. Great stuff!

@@Ogles I’m glad to see youre still doing videos my friend! Yeah man you have no idea how much of an souls-like itch i had going on. I mean I think i told you how it went down last time but it all started with Elden Ring. All because i am an open world junkie. And I absolutely got hooked to it. How my heart rate would jump up when fighting bosses because you needed to be SUPER sharp so learn how to beat some of those impossible bosses. Then after i beat elden ring I was like “Man I wish there were more games like this.” Before i found out that there were like 5 or 6 of them i haven’t played. Then I found you in DS2 and used your strategies damn near every time i couldn’t get past an impossible boss. Not sure though, did you do Sekiro cheeses too? Anyways, you and Tyrannicon were godsends. Ive been waiting for a DS like game foreve it seems so Lies of P and Lords of the Fallen (have it but aint played it yet) came just in time!! But Im in that place just past the mad clown and about to hit that boss. How far am i in the game? How many more bosses are there? Because so far, they aren’t anywhere as close to as hard as all the bosses in the previous DS games. Not sure if im just better at it now or if its because the specter takes allot of focus from the bosses (and they last the entire battle too) Do they get harder or is this just an easier version of DS-like games? Have you played Lords of the Fallen yet? I hear its kinda like Mortal Shell a bit. Can’t wait to crack into that one next! They should put out a DS-like game every friggin year! Id be happy for the rest of my life! LOL

@@desertegle40cal I would say this game will def satisfy the souls itch! It's one of my favorite soulslike out there and so good it almost feels like it was developed by From Software themselves, lol. And glad you've gone through nearly all the core Souls games now! I've never actually done the Sekiro guide, I've debated on it a few times, but just never find myself doing it, lol. And you're probably nearing the halfwayish point in the game and the difficulty will really start to rise toward the end. The final few bosses in the game are some of the hardest bosses I've ever encountered...especially the last optional boss, pretty insane how hard he is, lol. And I've got the whole Lords of the Fallen guide on the channel too! The game was fun, but def prefered Lies of P. However we are truly living in the golden age of soulslike games!

@@Ogles Yeah said it brother!! I was JUST talking about this the other day.. About how FromSoft hit a home run with these kinds of games and Lies of P itself seems like they took allot from souls games but they aren’t affiliated. How that’d work? LoL. The game seems to of taken damn near every great aspect of all souls games and put them together. Damn near unlimited resetting of skills, unlimited homeward bones, they sorta have that regain guard feature in Bloodbourne that incentivizes getting back in the faces of your enemies to regain that life. But in this its only when you block. But some of them bosses can take a huge chunk out of you while youre blocking so the regain guard function is awesome. I just got passed the Barren swamp’s boss and i just got into the grand central station place. But the bosses here seem a little easier to me than many of the souls and bloodbourne bosses. Maybe it’s because i blew through all the fromsoft games in one blow? Starting with Elden Ring and then learning about the rest of them and starting as DS1 going through DS3 and then Bloodbourne and Sekiro. As well as games like Mortal Shell. Ever played that? Its pretty cool. That harden function is straight OP. Made the bosses more manageable. But is there any souls games im missing you recommend? If I missed any. I feel like every few months I learn about a new one lol.

@@desertegle40cal You're flying through the game and already taken out one of the harder bosses in the game with the Swamp Monster! And I would say going through all the FS games back to back has made this a bit easier for you, lol. And Mortal Shell was a fun game! It was short, but was quality and I did love that harden function. And I'll tell you one that you need to check out, even though it's 2D (It plays like a souls game) is Blasphemous. That game has a phenomenal ascetic and feels so much like a souls game. Give it a look up if you haven't played it yet!

If you don't want to spend/waste money/materials, you can just kite him around the bushes and benches on the left by the Stargazer. Bait into jump/dash attacks. Slow, but effective. You won't even encounter his long-range Fury attack this way, he just keeps running in circles around the bushes.

I just beat him in an "honest" fight with no throwing items. It took me 25 tries lol I used the bone cutting sawblade.

Real, he attacks way to fast you get next to no chance to attack, and sometimes he ends attack strings differently so it's so it's a 50/50 guessing game half the time

Try to get a good duel damage to use less projectiles and i advise u to have the shield legion so u can guard and strike

There is a slightly slower, but funnier IMHO way to cheese this guy (terrifying guy if you hate clowns like me). You see those bushes around the street lamps? If you have a long weapon with a piercing attack move, like the altered state of the Holy Sword of the Ark, you can literally run around the bushes, while you keep the fatty on the other side. Just hit R2/RT when he is about to pass one of the corners... It is a completely safe strategy, it is way slower though... But, I have to say that this way of killing him was so satifying to me, because this mad clown is so useless around those bushes that the whole battle looks like a comedy sketch. Just play the Benny Hill show theme in the background and enjoy XD.

Idk how most of you made it this far ?!? It only took me 5 attempts. Work on practicing your parrys with him Sure you'll die a couple times but you'll be familiar with his attacks the more you pay attention to his timing.

Thanks Ogles. I got a flawless off the clown. Pennywise was super easy. He telegraphs the same ball chain toss over and over if you stand a distance away. If you get too close, he will do this spinning around.

I honestly didn’t think he was that bad, I beat him on my 3rd attempt just by being cautious and focusing on parrying when possible. His attacks are very easy to read and parry after a few goes.
