So how it works the designer or decorator goes to the house and put 8 hours a day or making the designer or they making the design and then visit to see the contractor do their job right ?

Who do you go to when you need someone to design the floorplan. We are building a casita out of a 1000 sq ft storage. The outside walls are concrete with a concrete roof ( we live on Guam where we have a lot of typhoons, so buildings re required to be concrete to withstand the heavy winds). There is nothing else in the building. Who could help me with a floorplan and the infrastructure, like walls, plumbing, electrical, windows, doors, etc?

So would the client set a budget on overall furniture/decor and also adding in the $200 an hour? Would you give them an estimate, like these 2 rooms will take me about 5 8 hour days?
