Hello, Gabriel. I watched your video about the Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN lens you recommended. If I use this lens to shoot a podcast interview with two people, the camera may need to be set up a bit farther from them. Is this suitable? Will the shot still achieve the effect of a single-person talk head video in a small room?

Hey! I don't know the distance of your room. So, you have a camera that will have both people in one frame and another two cameras that will be on each guest? It is possible to need a better 30 or 50mm for that close-up. The 30mm f1.4 for Sigma is even cheaper (This one: amzn.to/3yg1bFU ) Check this video. @@GabrielVIP I might only have one camera lens for shooting two people, and no additional lenses. If that's the case, would just buying a Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN lens work?

I want to recommend the proper solution for you so I need to understand the entire setup first. Do you want to shoot the entire podcast with one single camera? Do you want to have both people I one wide shot and make crop when you want one one or another? For the wide shot the lens is perfect but if you want to make a crop that big, the image will lose some quality. The problem Is not the lens, is the crop in this case. Even if you shot 4k, the crop will be big.

@@GabrielVIP Yes, I plan to shoot the entire podcast with one camera. I plan to have both people in one wide shot, but I'm not sure if I will crop out individual shots. By the way, if I want to crop out shots of each person individually, can I use two phones to shoot each person separately?

In my opinion would be better to use phones and have two separate angles than to do a huge crop. The crop will be too big and even with a 4k image, the crop will be super big to make that nice zoom. And also the angle will be the same. With two phones you will also change the angle a little bit. If you have the phones make a test :)
