Lol yay! Helpful hint I forgot to mention: before you apply the no wipe top to chrome on, apply a gel base or a gel primer. That will help to prevent your chrome from peeling ❤️

Quick question: When encapsulating with Gel base instead of clear dip powder, how long do you cure and what do you use to remove the sticky coat? Alcohol? I know in the past you would use Gel base and then Gel top to encapsulate before filing, but you've changed up your routine so now I have to change up my routine! 😜 I convince myself that if I do things just like you, my manis will turn out just like yours. So far that hasn't happened, but you never know when it just might 🤣. I will say, I did try the gel/dip powder pour over method and they turned out perfectly, but the removal process was a beast. It took about an hour to remove and I can't bring myself to do that again.
@@kristipalin3171 I’ve got some answers and tips for ya. I cure the gel base for 30 sec. Then wipe down the nails with swipe solution but alcohol would work perfectly. You can use base and top, it will depend on how thick you want the nails or how much filing you need to do. I didn’t need much filing, so I was comfy just using base. With removal of the gel.. I would recommend filing off as much product as possible without hitting nail. Then soak off the rest. That will reduce soak off time ❤️

I encapsulated with gel base. Then I filed and buffed. That sheen on the nail was probably just from cleansing the nails after filing. No steps skipped! 💕
Hi Marla! I haven't gone through all of your videos yet. Do you happen to have a video on nail health or how you keep your nails healthy when you use dip primarily? Or if one doesn't exist, will you consider giving us some tips?
Hey love! I haven’t done a dedicated video mostly bc it would be short lol keep dip over your nails to protect them, use cuticle oil daily, don’t over file them. End scene lol
When you cure your Base gel for encapsulation how long are you curing for? Why do you prefer base gel for encapsulation these days? I’m running low on my clear dip powder lol so this could be a good alternative for me
