This video is all about how to clean your bathroom. This is the bathroom cleaning routine I have been using for over 15 years in my personal cleaning business here where I live.
My favorite bathroom cleaner if Scrubbing Bubbles. This will be the primary cleaner we use for this job. Not only does it clean your bathroom but it also disinfects in the process.
1.) Remove items from bathroom floor (rugs, toilet brush, etc)
2.) Go around the bathroom and remove cobwebs
3.) Sweep floor
4.) Spray shower with Scrubbing Bubbles
5.) Clean toilet including toilet bowl
6.) Dust blinds
7.) Wipe off your light fixtures
8.) Clean mirror
9.) Clean vanity
10.) Clean shower
11.) Mop bathroom floor
12.) Put items back into bathroom

😂 I watch this video every time I have to clean my bathroom. Otherwise, because it is so unpleasant of a task, I lose focus and do everything out of order anxiously trying to hurry up and get out of there!!! Once done of course it’s worth having a nice fresh bathroom again. Thanks again!!!!

What's also good for shower 🚿 cleaning is dawn and vinegar and for harder spots baking soda!

It’s ok for maintenance but wont do much good if there are layers of soap scum to remove.

I have never worn gloves. l like to feel the soil with my hands as it allows me to clean better. Gloves just get in the way.

I had a cringe moment with the bare handed toilet clean there, but it is up to personal preference-that is true! I like the long cuffed rubber cleaning gloves you can get at the grocery store. The cleaning products are harsh on my poor old hands. 😁 This is my go-to cleaning guy....thanks for making these videos!

I don't wear gloves a lot of the times while cleaning the bathroom for the same reason he mentioned. I wash my hands afterwards though.

Great video. Is rubbing alcohol the best thing for removing hair spray buildup? It gets all over including the floor and on the wooden door and cabinets.

Thank you! I don't recommend rubbing alcohol for hair spray build up. Instead, wet a cloth and use Dawn dish soap.

Upgrade to a Webster, I promise it's a blessing. I use it for baseboards, vents, walls, fans, anything above five feet. I tend to clean top to bottom. If you do happen to have furry friends in the home, vacuuming the bathroom floor before you start cleaning the bathroom saves you from sweeping, then when finished all you need to do is mop. I swear I'll never clean the same only better.

Yes I vacuum the bathroom floors first sometimes instead of sweeping, just depends on the size of the bathroom. I will have to give the Webster a try!

Just moved into a rent house and it is absolutely filthy... I have four housemates and we have one bathroom. Can I get a hold of you personably and get some advice one on one? I'm drowning in despair and I feel like I need to shower after leaving my room.

@@CleanWithConfidence okay - as for our bathroom, I am pretty sure I am the only human in this house who owns cleaning supplies. I didn't bring a toilet brush on my way in as I assumed someone would, idk, have one, as they already live with a toilet, but they don't. I don't want to use my personal mop in the bathroom, it's so bad. Do you have recommended products? Moving in was a last minute emergency resort but I'm so hardcore regretting it for the state of the entire house is the filthiest I've ever seen and everyone here is pretty much complacent with it. I'm the only one who even owns wash rags!!!!

@@birdee8463 Depends on what you are trying to clean. Are you just talking about the bathroom or the whole house?

@@birdee8463 If you are just referring to a bathroom I would go to Lowes and buy Krud Kutter. Buy the big concentrate jug and use it undiluted. Of course you will need to buy a spray bottle to put it in as well. After you spray everything and let is soak for 10 minutes just use a regular old Sctoch-Brite sponge. Use the green side of the sponge though.

What do you recommend to use on stone tile floors? I am having a hard time finding something that works.

I would just go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy a good natural stone cleaner that they recommend. I don't have anything real special. Natural stone is meant to have kind of an old rustic look to it.

Are you asking me how many times a week I personally clean my bathroom or are you asking for a recommendation? lol I always keep disinfectant wipes next to the toilet and whenever I see pee of hair I wipe it up. As far as the shower is concerned every two weeks is good.

I use toilet paper to wipe the toilet it's just easier and you can flush those germs away for good

Christian What cleaning professional starts with the toilet? I tend to clean the cleanest thing first, all the way down to the dirtiest, that way I’m only using one towel, if any. Like you said, toilet paper is flushed away. You don’t have rag after rag after rag going into the washing machine, wasting time, energy and money. And this guy cleans for a living?

Did you say you put the cloth you used for the toilet in with the washing? I'm all for being green but really pooey cloths in the machine? (no disrespect - curious as to your thinking or if I missed something.

Yes I always wash all my work clothes together in the washing machine. They arent poopey though. If they have visible poop I would rinse them out first.

Just an easy tip,It's better if you use a bucket of water with Pine-Sol for your toilet to clean the outside with a rag then use the paper towel to dry it off.

You could do that, although you would need to follow up with some kind of disinfectant afterwards to kill the germs and bacteria. Pine Sol is just a cleaner but it has no disinfectant built into it unfortunately.

Honestly, it all depends on which Pine Sol you use. Yes the original Pine Sol disinfects, but alot of the newer verisons like the Lemon Fresh don't. They are only meant for cleaning, removing grease, deodorizing, etc.

You can still use the Pine-Sol to clean your toilets I like the original it smells good but sometimes if I don't have the original I still use the different kinds of Pine-Sol I use a little bit of bleach to kill the bacteria and the germs and always use gloves when you're using cleansers.

You need to let the disinfectant sit for 10 minutes before wiping down. I read it on the back of the lysol, pine soil, 7th generation cleaners. So if you are spraying and wiping it right away, you're not really disinfecting, just cleaning. I'm not sure about scrubbing bubbles, but Clorox disinfects in 3 seconds. I hate using bleach though

I have pets, and naturally, there's always pets hair everywhere all over the toilet, bath tub, shower etc.. I always start off by wiping and catching all the hair with some tissues (then I just toss them in the toilet). Otherwise the pet hair get in the rag and spread everywhere you're wiping

I can NOT get my kids to understand to remove everything from the counter first. They want to pick up and put down items 50 times. It takes twice as long. AND getting them to wipe the bottom and front of the toilet. lol

Yes you could put everything on the floor and then clean it if you don't mind bending over repeatedly. That was how I cleaned for the first 6 years or so I was in business, until one day I found it was way easier just to pull items forward then push them back. It saves time and your back in the process.

Love your videos. I flush the toilet, turn off the water, put toilet bowl cleaner in the dry toilet, wait a few minutes then use the toilet brush and lastly turn the water back on. The toilet bowl cleaner isn’t diluted with the water in the toilet bowl.

I have never worn gloves after 14 yrs in this industry. It just slows me down. I like to feel the soil I am cleaning. It allows me to clean better and faster without gloves.
