As a die hard animal lover, i fully support hunting. Though i could never bring harm to an animal myself, its far better to hunt your own food knowing its had a good, natural and heathy life, able to display its natural behaviours. Compared to factory farmed animals who know nothing but a life of abuse and suffering.

i know what you are getting at. but with all these guns and traps humans use. its not natural anymore. if all humans would start hunting the little bit of wild animals that still exist will die out very quickly. bc humans are not part of the natural order, nature has no control over the situation. so like the fox and the bunny. there is always a balance. a lot of foxes = bunny pop. start to decrease = fox pop. decreases = bunny pop. start to grow = fox pop. start to grow = bunny population decreases and so on. with humans. they dont live in nature. so they dont get killed, die bc of injury as rapid as wild animals. so you just got the human species killing off all other species on earth. certainly with hunting, where a dude can just sit hidden about 100m away from the prey and kill it, there is no natural fairness or chance there, since animals still live naturally where they fight with their natural given weapons.

ILikeChickenOkay I feel EXACTLY the same! BUT only as long as an animal is killed for food (not for the sick thrill of insane people killing for fun) and as long as it's killed in a humane way, aka no traps it'll slowly die in or suffer for hours/days, and so on. I'd rather hunt my own food, too, or at least raise animals and kill them myself when the time comes.

He said it very simply - in just a few words - "For those that don't understand, stop watching". That's really all that needs to be said. If you find this offensive - no one is forcing you to watch anything, eat anything, kill anything. A non-hunter will never understand the mind of a hunter - and that connection with nature does NOT mean that you must leave all nature's creatures alone. A non-hunter trying to understand and attack a hunter for his/her actions - is like a religious person trying to convert an atheist - your opinions differ - and that's OK - neither of you are right and neither of you are wrong - which is why this argument will ALWAYS exist. There is no right or wrong - and thus it never ends. Anyway - awesome work here - always like watching these videos. Keep up the good work!

There are different types of hunters too though. There are the ones who are respectful and put what they've killed to good use by eating the meat and/or using other parts of the animal as much as they can. Then there are the idiots who just get off on killing things and disrespecting the carcass because they're disturbed mentally. The latter is what gives real hunters a bad name.

I have been interested in hunting ever since I was a small child. I help led my dad process his deer. I went bird hunting with my little cousin because we live next to a pheasant farm (he said we can shoot pheasants that wander off his land), I hunted squirrel and rabbit and groundhog. And I hunted deer. Every animal I’ve ever killed I had massive respect for. Hunting connects you to nature like you never could have thought because you are closer to Creation than you ever could be sitting on your couch watching National Geographic

I understand your rant, as a fellow hunter. I disagree partly due to the fact that many that trophy hunt completely waste the meat, if you kill it you Gotta eat it, I was raised that way and that's what I have always done. If I'm not gonna eat it I don't shoot it. Trophy or not.

Gareth weare eat it or give the meat and intestines to local people to eat and sell to others if it s to much meat. Don t waste the meat organs bones and hide! That video bout the givibg away of intestines abd organs to locals was a great way to show a way to use the whole animal if you can t or wont eat or save it to eat later. So it doesn t go wasted abd also gives local people a way out of poverty if then can cheap or for free use the meat to feed their conmunity or city or sell it to provide for their family

I agree. Either your a hunter or a trophy hunter. A real hunter uses what he can. We eat all the meat and donate what we cant eat. Give the strong bones to our dogs and the rest goes to scavengers like foxes and vultures. Antlers are only part of the prize. A trophy hunter can only see horns. We've had people trespassing and take mature white tail and cut off the head. Leaving us to clean up rotting bodies.

90% of meat is toxins. We only need about 2 nutrients in meat that we can find in other non meat foods. The meat on shelves comes from sad, sick and overly injected/medicated animals. It is very unhealthy, as is any meat for the human body. If you insist on eating meat, then you are poisoning your very own body in every way. If you insist on killing your own meat, then you are a hypocritical murderer. Murder is murder, no matter the creature. Hunting is an outdated, irrelevant barbaric sport.
@alicehatter4973
@alicehatter4973 6 лет назад
Bro Doe As a hunter, you personally are bringing their pain/death, no matter the duration. That is solely on you and your choices, not the meat market. Can you personally live with that on your shoulders? Hunters murder with their bare hands but you insist it's better simply because you aren't controlling it's living conditions? Warped frame of mind and still a hypocrite. And if you don't want to be part of the manufactured meats, then don't buy/support the abused animals welfare.

I looked at his about to see what kind of Hunter he is. His monologue in the beginning was all I needed to hear. He hunts for food, not for fun. The animals they hunt are animals that have no natural predators in that area. If they didn't hunt, they elk would over-populate that area and end up messing up the ecosystem. He basically uses the meat for food and keeps the heads as trophies since his culture views it as wasteful to just throw away the head and horns. I don't agree with keeping a head as a trophy, but I respect it
@adisturbedoneandi
@adisturbedoneandi 2 года назад
Yeah he hunt to feed his family, and uses pretty much all of the meat, except for the head. He just like skulls too, and people have him do commissions to clean the skulls for them as well. If I were a hunter I would be doing exactly the same as Ryan here is doing. Hunt for food, keep the skull.

Fantastic comment you made, I recently lost a friend that is a vegetarian. Apparently I live in the caveman style, and cos I hunt I have no respect for animals. My comment to that was, I probably have more respect and understanding of animals than you do. I don't over hunt, I take what I need and I use everything on the animal . I understand controlling numbers and that nature is a circle of life.

ah lol. i respect my dog more than you do cuzz i kill it. sure. the idiot vegetarian will just save that dog, but that will make him less respecting right? humans are nowhere near the circle of life. you dont get hunted down by a mountain lion, bear, lion,...and you can only hunt with made weapons. predators dont need shit for hunting. just their natural born with bodies. take that same natural given body of a human. put it in nature. and see how truly pathetically weak humans are. no claws, no canines, no poisonous tail,...nothing. just a slow, (now bc of ego also) dumb, weak bag of easy meat. often with humans bc they use weapons they barely have to do effort, so they often take biggest strongest specimen of the species. the one who would have the best offspring for that species to flourish. while natural predators, often go for the weak/sick, ironically doing their own part in making that species flourish. your friend went veggie cuzz he had so much respect for animals and knew he was healthier without meat, and so killing animals would just be unnecessary suffering. wich is grown up, manly thing of him to realize and work for. sometimes when you make that step you lose peoples whos idiocy (ignorance + ego) is too great.

@@magzies5795 C'mon, how do you think we get food for everyone here in poor countries? You americans love to be vegetarian and vegan and all that shit and saying that hunting its not in the circle of life, did you know that animals make advantage of the environment too? A lot of animals use camouflage, poison from other sources (plants, fruits), or even parasite to get their food, we are not weaker or stronger in power, we dont need that, we have the strongest natural weapon in the ecosystem, its called intelligence, like a lot of animals we just used our natural born and developed weapon to create tools with the environment for hunting bigger and stronger animals than us, we deserve our place in the ecosystem, of course, we need to preserve the ones vanishing and hunt the overpopulated like the guy in the video does. But never surrender our position in nature, conquered with centuries of hunting development.

Exactly, I don’t hunt,but those who preach that we must protect the helpless animals actually don’t respect the animals. Animals survive and procreate and thrive, they are living beings and while sometimes we may want to intervene to give a helping hand,animial with no predators are perfect for hunting because it’s food without damaging the population.

Living in the South, you meet a lot of hunters. Many are trophy hunters only. To them it's a power trip and a way to, shall we say, "compensate" for ways they might be lacking. That being said, I've also met many people who hunt to provide their families with extra food. (Ever had venison shepherds pie? OMG it's good.) These people actually care about the science of population density, local environmental changes, and conservation. As opposed to some who use "it's population control" as a way to silence haters when they actually know nothing about it. Personally, I don't hunt (beyond the 3-4 deer I've killed with my car) but I can appreciate the good hunters out there who do what they do responsibly which in turn keeps herds from being over-populated and animals starving to death. So thank you good hunters. I will buy venison from you any day. And thank you Whitebone Creations for making excellent taxidermy videos. Dunno why, but they are oddly satisfying to watch.

Let me reiterate here, through turkey shoots, hunters safety, range shooting, and meeting other hunters on public land or out in public not once have I ever heard any say they hunt purely for trophy and if you look anywhere online you'll see just about every Hunter on the planet is against it so don't bring up your bullshit to try and make a point.

I think of it this way. The animal is sacrificed to provide you with food so that you can live instead of them and by mounting the animal's head it's not just a trophy for you to look at and remember the experience (because really with the kind of weapons we have available to us today it's not difficult to take down most animals so trophies don't have as much to say about hunting skill as they used to) it's also a way to honor the animal for the sacrifice they made. That's what makes it meaningful and a lot cooler to see people's "trophies".

I’d much rather eat an animal I killed myself than eat an animal that went through hell in a slaughterhouse, just sayin. So for everyone who’s saying that hunting isn’t right, consider the quick death of these animals verses the hell that the ones in your supermarket go to.

I'm a non-hunter and I just couldn't do it myself but honestly as long as people aren't hunting endangered animals, kill them as humanly as possible and where its possible, use the meat off the animal. In some areas population control of certain species is needed and I'm okay with that. Anyway I love your videos, really informative and provide me with good skull study references 👌 keep it up!!

I have nothing against hunting for sport as long and the meat isnt wasted but I do believe you are overstating the benefits of hunting for population control. These animals had not problem with population control before man showed up. Their natural predators picked off the old and sick well enough to keep the populations under control. Hunters on the other hand tend to target the best specimens. Those are the ones that had the best chance of reproducing the next generation of successful offspring.

@TomsBackyardWorkshop
@TomsBackyardWorkshop 7 лет назад
I think we are talking about 2 different things. Hunters are the people who go out in the forest in search of healthy animals for trophies and or food. In the US the government takes care of the animals found sick and dying near roads or populated areas. In many cases it would actually be illegal for a hunter to kill them.

I'm fine with hunting... To an extent. Hunting exotic animals (rhinos, lions, giraffes, seals, penguins, etc.) are completely wrong and unnecessary. Hunting is for population control, not extinction. I really hope you don't support that because it's wrong and kinda disgusting. Many people kill lions,elephants and rhinos just for bragging rights and looking cool. Its moronic. Killing beautiful animals just because you want to isn't okay. If it's for food, (NECESSARY and NORMAL food) that's a different story. I'd rather have an exotic animal skull knowing it died of natural causes, than just for sport. My opinion though.
@Wapiti_Jawz
@Wapiti_Jawz 5 лет назад
I agree, I would much rather find an exotic animal skull in the wild, so that I know that it died of natural causes and not poaching.
@MrHotstuff011
@MrHotstuff011 5 лет назад
Actually hunting some exotic animals is actually beneficial. When people spend big bucks to hunt say a rhino that is old and dangerous to the rest of the pack, that money goes back to Farmers who in turn will protect the animals from poachers who just kill and take horns. It may sound dumb and I'm not defending those rich assholes who want to kill big game but it's not completely wrong

@kadedoverspike9026
@kadedoverspike9026 7 лет назад
Gökhan Koç humans also participate in balancing our the populations of animals, we are actually a very important part of that system, and you do know humans hunt for food to stay alive as well as any carnivore or omnivore. You probably didn't know because you have a grocery store to go to when you are hungry.

Gökhan Koç many people don't hunt for entertainment. Hunting and eating meat is part of some people's lifestyles. Just cus u don't agree with my views doesn't make me retarted. The fact that your insulting me about this shows how incompetent your 10 year old brain is
@outdateddogemem8556
@outdateddogemem8556 7 лет назад
Gökhan Koç open your eyes people don't hunt just for entertainment, some people do it for food. It's like how you said a bear hunts a deer to stay alive. I go fishing for food all the time and if the fish isn't eaten or gets rotten I use it for bait to catch more fish. Grow up already stop bitching about this and focus on something other than crying about this.
