I've never seen morels that big. Always been hopeful but I loved hunting these in the spring as a kid. And you clean and cooked them just like my parents did for me as a kid.
Enlightening! I thought you were supposed to remove the stems. I'm about to stuff some with cream cheese and Panko breadcrumbs, coat them with the breadcrumbs and air fry them in my oven. Bon Appetit!
I haven't come across any in decades, today there were a few in a forest clearing that I cooked up as advised, pretty good and now need to search for more!
Be sure to always dump the water where you found your mushrooms and leave the roots in the ground they will grow there again if you don't a lot of time they won't be there next year
