Ive been penny boarding for 3 years but guess what. I didnt even had one original “penny board”. But even though its fake its quality is good. Who cares if its fake. Just appreciate . Btw u just earned a sub :)

its actually a pretty good quality board .. if you just don't mind the brand i have an offbrand cruiser board where the kingpins are not actually kingpins but just big threaded bolts ..but still rides pretty good ..

No matter the brand respect a skater, besides there are ways to make unbranded penny boards better. Try to change the bearing to a bones reds, and you are good to go. Cheaper than actually buying the Penny brand.

yes you can but you need to buy special paint (to paint plastics)

The only part of the wheel I'd paint is the external side, where you can add even some cool graphics. The contact surface is likely going to chip away anyway. I would recommend an acrylic based ink or marker like Posca or Molotov's one4all; rather than oil or alcohol based permanent markers. Those may may act as solvent on urethane and bite your wheels. Better try on some wheels that you are not very fond of ; )
