Be careful with strawberries. They have lots of pores in which pesticides linger. Always buy organic strawberries if possible! Stay healthy you guys! 🙏🏼
thank you for sharing these much needed information to the public because even people that think they know stuff don't about alot of these types of hidden dangers.thanks again STL MOM🇺🇸
Chi Dixon you can trust yourself. If you grew your own fruits and vegetables, you wouldn’t have to depend on the morality/non presence of morality from second and third parties. These people take advantage of us because they know we’re too lazy to learn anything outside of our own interests. Most of our interests are of bullshit means. Most of us would rather tune into Love and Hip Hop or The Bachelor than to learn how to grow our own food. We’re purposely not taught shit like this in grade school, and we graduate grade school celebrating because we’ve viewed school as prison just being glad we don’t have to go anymore. If you stay ready you ain’t gotta get ready, and there ain’t no corporation who can say they’ve fucked you with the corporate dick. If it came from your hand, you therefore shouldn’t have any worries unless you can’t trust yourself
The problem with the word 'organic' is that it really just means that it's derived from living matter. So unless the produce is certified organic, it's either a company advertising it's products as organic when it's not... or it's a company that follows the guidelines for organic certification but not willing to spend the money for the certification for lack of resources or to not drive up the prices. Ya just don't know.
I was just diagnosed with breast cancer - it does not run in my family, I have been totally healthy my whole life. I feel I got it from pesticides as I eat very healthy. It is very important to wash fresh produce and using a solution is the best way.
Pursuit of Truth who cares every end theres a new beggining if i was sure to die then i would spend my days partying and being around the no fake people just real ones try psychedelics comforts you with death i know from experience- psylocybin works well good luck i guess.
This definitely helps to remove pesticides from the external part of the fruit.. However, unfortunately, if pesticides and other chemicals are in the soil that the fruit is grown in, then guess what?? it's also inside of the fruit itself.. we can escape the toxicity :(
You are right. There is pesticides everywhere, even on organic fruits and veggies. Most of the non organic fruits and veggies are normally treated with organophosphate so the pesticide goes in the fruits or veggies. For the organic ones, the molecule of the pesticides is suppose to deteriorate naturally and does not stay much inside, but u still have residu outside and need to wash. The residu for organic ones is so small compare to the non organics that we can say they are more safe. Sorry if my English is not good.
They have been doing a whole litany of heinous things to prevent human population from exploding out of control and living too long. The pesticides crap is just ONE of such MANY heinous things.
yo yo some of you people who say just grow things yourself oh really do you realize how many people in this country are stuck living in apartments and cannot even grow stuff on their balcony because they might not get enough sunlight
Rhodes there's some compact ways of growing of growing certain fruits like strawberries as long as you have some form of setting a plant near the sun, like a balcony.
Vinegar is the best solution for so many things! Put a cup of vinegar outside your windows , and spray some in the air! It will clean the sky from all the Chemtrails ! No joke! Great results!
Just rinsing is not enough, pesticides are absorbed into soft skin fruits and vegetables. Soak the fruits and vegetables in white vinegar at least thirty minutes the longer the better. It will draw out the pesticides and not taste like vinegar.
Margaret; could you provide a link that shows scientific evidence to your claim that vinegar draws out pesticides. I have been unable to find a single piece of evidence that supports your claim.
organic farmers can use pesticides on their crops. Check with the FDA. Big farm companies (Monsanto etc) lobbied the government to allow some chemical pesticides be used on "organic" crops. you are not safe from injesting organic crops without washing them.
i put what i'm going to eat in a bowl and add a little warm water with a dash of dish washing detergent. message it around and rinse it off a couple of times. you can see the dirt in the wash.
So glad to get this information, I can’t afford to buy organic, most cost too much. I will certainly start doing this, but one question, you said soak in the sink, sinks have germs in them that might get on your produce don’t they? I will use a big pot. Thanks
You have to consider your WATER too... make sure it is at least Filtered. In my area, and many others... a person can smell the Chlorine in the water that comes out of your faucet! I can't afford a whole new filtering system, so I use PUR filters, as it gets a high percentage of chemicals out of the Water... Then mix this water with Vinegar. By the year 2025 - it has been forecasted that our Planet will experience Water Shortages...this is already a reality in some countries.
Germs and pesticides are two very different thing. Vinegar is acidic and baking soda is alkalic. Two opposites. Which one really removes pesticides residues?
Thank you so much for sharing this very important information, I really appreciate it. I love your channel, you have alot of info that I'm interested in. Keep going with this informative information. This could relates to either youself or someone you know & even if you don't any alements, its great to know. Thank you
Pesticides are either reactive or non reactive but not _"alive" as referred to here in your educational presentation. Furthermore they (pesticides) don't die but rather are diactivated by vinegar or baking soda, which is the best description that should have been used here. I am only trying to help so you can present an impecably accurate and truthful presentation. I wasn't trying to be negative. And by the way thanks for educating us .
The other day I ate some strawberries and Peaches. Alot of them, two days later I feel weak, headache, joint ache and toothache that wont go away, everytime I eat them I get this feeling, I forget to wash them sometimes. As long as I dont eat anymore of them and drink lots of water the side effects will go away after about 2 to 3 days.
All these products also have chemical structures, ex. salt is calcium chloride or ClNa, vinegar is CH3-COOH. Have the crossed effects with the pesticides been studied? Just curious. Thank you.
Buying "organic" is by no means a certainty of NO pesticides being used in their production. The USDA allows a certain smaller use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers that allows growers to still affix the "organic" label legally.
When I lived on a military base in Turkey. We were told to clean our fruits and vegetables, with a small amount of bleach. Strange but it worked and we never got ill.
I dont think they use pesticides as much any more instead the farmers buy seeds which have been genetically modified (GMO) so that bugs and pests cannot consume the foods . Pesticides are still used by some amatuer small business farmers however rarely not most of the time Still great informative video but can i use these methods for removing pesticides off seeds such as hawaiian baby woodrose or morning glory ???
All what you said is true till you reached vinegar. True vinegar can clean, but do you know that you need every time at least a bottle. A bottle is a lot and cost alot too. Therefore, the best solution is to rinse alot with water.
As long as you eat vegetables, fish, meat bought in the wet and supermarkets you cannot cape consuming some residues of chemical. Same goes for food stalls and restaurants. We have to be vigilant in washing our vegetables and meat by using ingredients like turmeric, ginger, sea rock salt, viniger to mention some.
DG the nickname for Whole Foods is called WHOLE PAYCHECK because there are too pricey and take your whole paycheck. they are greedy ..they're run by a bastard greedy Corporation.. I know people that work for the Whole Foods in the Tampa Bay area and I was hearing horror stories of how it was treating their workers more as if they worked at Walmart and take away their benefits and other ways of enslaving them and just making them feel tomorrow lized I guess one of their scumbag you'll be CEOs needs another Mansion or a bigger yacht you know how it goes.. ... and this was about 5 years ago.. I can only imagine what it's like now.. I refuse to give that place my money.. also when I've done price comparisons between them and other places hands-down Whole Foods is always more expensive ... why .. well like I said corporate greed.
Organically grown produce actually do sometime contain pesticides. Farmers are allowed to use if there is an infestation. Most people dont even know this
