Hey guys! Well my son was trying to be helpful and then ended up spilling my wax from the warmer all over the floor, wall, and trash can. I started by scraping- DON'T DO THAT! I ruined part of my wall. But then I found the easiest, quickest way to get rid of it on all my surfaces! Check it out :)

You just changed my life! My husband was being sweet and drew me a nice bath, but he lit the decorative candles on the wall in the toilet alcove and they dripped down the whole wall and all over the toilet and the trash can. 😭 I scraped up as much as I could without gouging anything and I have tried all kinds of cleaners but nothing really worked. This cleaned the rest of the residue perfectly! Thank you for making this video!!!

I want to thank you for this video because using a hair dryer actually made my task much easier. My trick was to use a cake spatula wrapped in paper towels to soak up the residue oils after scrapping the larger slatters of wax off my floor. It is definitely a tedious job, but it has to be done.

I want to personally thank you for this video. I spilled a jar of facial wax on my sink area instead of using a blow dryer I used a heat gun for arts and crafts. Worked like a charm

Sure wish I'd seen this video sooner! I had been trying to get the wax off of my wood grain tile (to absolutely no avail) and hadn't noticed how much was was on my wall. Gave up on my floor and the other day I had my black light on to see if any wax had gotten on the wall and holy crap! Looked somebody had P'd all over my wall in the bathroom.. totally disgusting. The wax was invisible so hand't noticed anything there until that black light made it glow.. I'd tried every cleaner I had and nothing worked.. finally looked here. YOU'RE A LIFE SAVER!! All the wax is gone and it only took a few minutes. I can't thank you enough for posting your video.

Thankful for this video! I always knew using a warm iron worked on carpet so last night we spilled a candle warmer on hard wood floors and I wondered if heat would help it like the carpet. Went to RU-vid and searched it and your video was what popped up. Showing me it does work well without anymore damage. Thank you SO much!

I just tried this on the biggest mess right before my bed time at 9 pm . I accidentally knocked over my wax Warmer and let me tell you it WORKED! I can’t thank you enough 🥰👍🏻 I have to be up at 2am for work and this just saved me 😅 (I do admit I used a razor blade and ruined some paint on the wall before I saw your video) 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

I was in my zoom class when I blew out my candle and I put the lid on it. I always forget to trim my candle and I decided to do it now before I forget. I opened it and forgot that the wax was still melted and the wax got everywhere I started to panic and I used a knife to get it off but there was still a lot left until I came across this video and THANKFULLY it worked I’m so relieved that I was able to get it off and my desk is back to normal it’s like it never even happened 😌 thank you!

gotta love youtube/the internet. a short post from over two years ago is giving me step by step video instructions on how to solve a random, minor, yet annoying task. I too spilled a bit of wax from my scented wax melter and its on hardwood floor as well as tile. I was having some success just scraping it off the floor with my finger nails and a credit card, but I can't get it all off. I think if I use the heat method along with the credit card/paper towels I'll have no problem finishing up the task in a tenth the time it would have taken to get every last bit up while its in hundreds of tiny hard blobs on my flooring.

Wow this WAS HELPFUL Ima gonna have use this method I'm cleaning a crockpot I cooked wax/oil with for bike chain and the wax is all put just wax stuck to edges still on ther... sweet I was lighting the sides with a lighter and that was good but it was taking forever so I looked youtube and the blow dryer may reach bigger area so may b faster thanks!!! Your idea saved us today. Our daughter exploded wax in our microwave. Let me tell you, it was all over. Luckily, it came off after an hour of cleaning with a hairdryer and an old rag. Note: A rag worked faster than paper towels. Thank you from the bottom of my our hearts.

My boyfriend unplugged my wax warmer/nightlight that I keep in the bathroom to move to his side of the bedroom and instead of turning on the bedroom light, he just unplugged it and tried to take it to our room and OF COURSE spilled it on my straighter and sink/sink counter because he couldn’t see and not once did it occur to him to hit the light switch. Anyway, thanks for this tip!

I was cleaning and on an old tabletop there was melted candle wax that has been melted and hardened on there for several years, I touched it and I was wondering does the residue stay on your skin for a long time? if I wash my hands with soap will the wax residue still be present on my skin?

This worked like a charm. Mystery large wax puddle appeared on wood floors one night. No candles, so who knows how that happened. Used the trusty blow dryer and now it's all gone. I'd still like to know how it got there, but you can't have everything. Thank you!

& guys if you close the lid when it's still lit to put off the flames do not immediately try and open it up I just tried to do that and it spilled all over floor haha thanks for the hack it worked
