My dad was a master mechanic, always clearly explaining what to do and how to do it. You're right up there. Thanks for a simple and clear explanation. I'll be looking for throttle cleaning next.

I just wanted to add my name to the list. Clear instructions and visuals. Seems simple but a lot of automotive videos don't show the work, just the results. Thank you.
helllo i just wanted to thank you i drive for a living for multiple delivery and local shipping Co.'s and I needed help getting my vehicles gas mileage better with high prices at the pumps i started to lose money on some gigs. I watched this and did this to my ford escape and i can tell im getting more miles of a full tank of gas . Thank you for uploading this its really helping me and my family on the bills and driving to more cool places again. 10/10
With the price of mechanics these days, I'm learning to do a lot of this on my own through RU-vid videos, thanks for making this video it looks like a pretty easy job👍😎
Thank you so much. Haven't even tried it yet, that may be the problem for a 2006 Ford Freestar. I appreciate people like you doing this. I'll try this before buying an IAC valve. Take Care Friend!

I used to work for the screw manufacture that made those torx screws. That is called a secure Torx. You can get those in bit and screwdriver. Other than in auto use, you will see these most commonly in restroom stalls holding them together. Trust me....you'll see them. Sound odd though I know. Anyway....The screw is a Secure Torx bit.
Wow thank you so much for this easy to understand and watch as you cleaned the sensor I'm buy cleaner tomorrow and doing mine on my Ford expedition with the 5.4 triton engine so again thanks for the great video
Why can't people make videos to the point like this guy? No beating around the bush. Straight to the point Lectures about an issue brings in confusion.

Thank you so much for sharing this I’m not late but rather right on time so I’m gonna clean my maf tomorrow and change throttle body also but I need to know if I can relearn new throttle after replacing it
Great video....the only thing I would mention is you don't need to wait 20-30 min for it to dry....it's ready to drive in 3min or less even! The cleaner evaporates quickly!!!
That seems simple. I replaced the old one on my 1992 Ford Taurus SHO about 2 years ago. Now, the ECM gave me a code related to the MAF the other day, so I went out and got a MAF cleaner spray can to clean it. The reason is because of what I call shuddering upon letting off the gas pedal.
I have a 99 expedition that shut off while driving. After sitting, it will start and sputter for about 30-45 seconds before shutting off. I believe I heard a pop from the exhaust. Could it possibly be my airflow sensor? Thankyou for such a clear video.

Would this have to be done a couple times a year on an older (2013) Escape that's up to 90,000 miles? I did this back about September/October and it is throwing that code again today, about 6 months later. I don't drive nearly like I used to and seldom down a gravel road so not lots of dust. Just wondering. Thanks for your video...makes it super simple.
Normally not but on a older vehicle may need to, would clean it and if helps great. Please subscribe & like and share if haven't already and check out our other helpful videos
If my F150 has a mass air flow sensor does it not have a MAP sensor. I saw some videos and looked in the book and thought the MAP sensor was my problem but I can't locate where it should be. But I do have a mass air flow sensor.
Sometimes you can but most time it's better just to remove. Please subscribe & like and share if haven't already and check out our other helpful videos
It works but it also leaves a residue you can't see but will baud cause the MAF to get dirty again quicker. I'd recommend CRC Mass Air Flow sensor cleaner. Most mechanics recommend this and warn about using other products to clean it.

Question i know somebody that got a 94 Ford F150 its a little beat up but runs pretty good but it needs that Air Flow sensor he want 1400 for it. Would yall buy it ?
My 1996 f-150 runs but out of no where I have to put it in natural an turn it off an on because it doesn't accelerate any suggestion on how or what to fix please help!...
I would clean first and see if car runs fine, if not then I would change. Please subscribe & like and share if haven't already and check out our other helpful videos
Thanks for watching yes you should have 1 just do a Google search for MAS on your car so you will see a picture and know what you are looking for. Please subscribe & like and share if haven't already and check out our other helpful videos
Thanks for watching and commenting yes you can get a security torque screwdriver. Please subscribe and share if haven't already and check out our other helpful videos.
Thanks mate! If you use photoshop and then cut the background out, to get a clean edge on your picture without the jagged edge you have on that torx bit, turn the colour scale down to match 2 pixels. Then use the magic wand tool. Just in case you didn't know :) thought I would help
No you don't need to but if it helps you feel better then it's no harm in doing so. Please subscribe & like and share if haven't already and check out our other helpful videos
