Ph neutral soap doesn't neutralize acid. You need to follow up with high ph alkaline chemical to do that. Superior products Dark Fury works great in that application.
Thank you for the feedback Gary! I use Wire Wheel Cleaner by Superior Products. Since I use it often I buy it by the Gallon & dilute it 4:1. I put the link to the product in the description for you. Because it's just another RU-vidr with some dysfunctional crap, there is never any reason to use wheel acid on any rim at any time with all the great wheel cleaning products out there this is considered idiotic and quite disturbing. And he didn't even rinse the wheel off and made sure it was wet before he sprayed that acid on there and that could be a serious problem if you spray it on the wrong rims.
There is never any time or any reason to use acid on your wheels with all the great products out there and wheel cleaners there's never any reason to use acid anymore. This video was like watching somebody from the insane asylum that got loose and he's telling you how to clean rims because he watched other RU-vid videos, I think RU-vid video should be fact checked so unsuspecting people who aren't professionals don't go and destroy their vehicles. It's time for this guy to stop at the pharmacy and grab his lunch
