Just sold my 91 Tf rodeo for a 2012 Dmax, now this making me reminisce of cleaning the old girl up. All the sanding, painting and cleaning her all up, learnt so much on that old ute. So easy to work on, I’m definitely going to get an old project 4x4 in the future!!
fantastic work, especially on cleaning that carpet, One trick you can use in the future is to dye your plastic parts using RIT dye. Dye will not chip or flake off like paint and even when scratched it typically penetrates into the plastic a bit.
Thank you so much! I have been told about this dye before and completely forgot about it! That’s a great idea thanks for reminding me I’ll look into it more!
Looks 100x better 👌 I sprayed the parts around the radio and dash cluster in a gun metal grey and it looks mint doesn't stick out like a sore thumb just looks nice and clean. Will be definitely grabbing a sticker or two for the shorty bus 👌👌👌 Also where do you plan on taking the gq for its first off-road trip would be keen to tag a long 😀😀
Great video mate ! you dont know how happy i was when i saw this video up after a hug night on the beers with boys it differently helped with the hangover !. I cant remember but are you planning to do anything to the engine bay for example new turbo, catch can and a 12v set up ?
Hahaha hope it cured the hangover a bit! I am planning a little in my head but nothing solid yet as I’m running out of money haha! So far I know I wanna paint under the hood and bonnet with metallic paint Probly with a red flake in it! And maybe do an Intercooler and turbo, 12v for sure to!
Another minticle vid bro. Love it! Grab yourself a bissall for interior cleaning. Absolutely the best thing for interior cleaning. Looking forward to the sound proofing etc from car builders. Well done again legend!
should have taken out the carpets and pressure cleaned them outside, cleaned the floors as there so much shit under there and possibly lots of rust. also should raptor inside the cab
Thanks mate! Just don’t wanna sound like we are out for profit! I’m litterally putting everything I have into this build and the channel! I love doing it 🙂
