Everything you need to know. Today I am showing you how to clean the Soft Roller of the Jimmy JV51. This procedure is basically the same as if you were cleaning the soft roller of the Dyson V8 V10 V11.

the motorized head is not meant to be washed and if you wash it, it may cause a failure which is not under the warranty. I hope people are not doing so. Only the brush itself and the filter are allowed to be washed.

Hi, please remove the video as it misleading people to damage their motorized brush motor. Even if you dry it clean for 48 hours, water damage to the motor will stay there due to rust causing failure eventually!!!

Hello. Yes, after letting it dry for 24 hours, the brush was working normal with no problems. Do you have problems with It? 😀

Hi that's great, however my roller isn't spinning round, could that be something to do with the brush? as the inner plastic bit is spinning ok, thank you

Hello Jane. I am looking right now at my Jimmy cleaner head. I took out the brush and re-installed it. The soft roller brush is a very tight fit. Could it be that the soft brush was not aligned totally straight in the cleaner head housing? Is there any damage on the soft roller brush? If the inner plastic bit is spinning okay, then the brush itself is causing the problem. How old is your vacuum?

Just now I tried several times to re-insert the soft roller brush. Two times I got the same result as you did, the soft brush did not spin. Please try to take out the brush and re-insert it a few times. When you install the soft roller the end, opposite of the inner plastic bit, you will hear a loud “clicking” noise when you press this side of the soft roller gently but firmly down. In my case the roller is spinning fine after the “click”. The roller was not spinning when I did not hear a “click”. Please let me know if you need additional assistance. Have a wonderful day. 😀👍

Im not sure ur supposed to wash the case itself as it is electric, it has a motor inside and stuff

Hello iplaybose. Please don’t wash the outside of your vacuum cleaner. Just use a moist towel and wipe the outside surfaces. You are right: water and electricity do not mix. Have a great day. 😀

Is the material cashmere? I got the dreame xr and i have no idea if its safe to wash cashmere

Hello Chez Doge. Thanks for watching my video. I am sorry to say that this material is not cashmere. It is very soft artificial microfiber. You can wash it with no problem. Have a good night 😴💤

no hagan esto, dañarán el motor eléctrico que esta en la parte donde se encaja el rodillo, el rodillo si pueden sacar y limpiarlo con agua y jabón

NEVER EVER CLEAN MOTORIZED HEAD LIKE MAN ON THAT VID. Brush can be clean under water, but as head have motor inside, the motor will rust and will be damage.
