Thank you. I'm a relatively new gun owner. The Echelon is my newest. I have shot them a bit, but I haven't cleaned them. I wanted to watch someone else do it before I did it myself. This was very helpful.

I’ve only shot my Springfield Echlon recently and the gun shoots great. It fits like a kit glove. I’m so glad I bought it. Thank you for the video on how to clean it.

I’ve always been told to use oil on things that rotate and grease on things that slide. Springfield manual only uses oil what is other Echelon user opinions. Especially on the rails. Springfield says that the COG does not need lubrication. What are other Echelon users doing wrt lubrication/cleaning the COG.

Is there any risk of wearing away a Cerakote finish over time by cleaning?
