Hi Mark I hope you don't mind me asking you a question please. When I turn my heating and hot water together the controller keeps flickering on and off, if you could tell me some pointers to look for I would much a appreciate it many thanks.

How would you addd inhibitor?

I put it in the expansion tank as my system is vented (I stop the water from topping up and drain some water out from the mag filter, then add to the expansion tank). If you have a combi, then you can drain some water from a rad, then add it using a funnel into the rad. Re-pressurise the system and turn it back on.

those are really crappy filters, personally I like Instinct eco-mag filters, they are relatively cheap, come with spare o-rings and are easy to service and look great. I do think Adey make good filters but they can be a pain to fit. Worcester filters are great but expensive.
