Handbook for my bike says that you should put a rubber bung in the exhaust and plastic bags over the bars/switch gear before washing.

Snake oil. I use kerosene and fairy liquid mixed in a squirty bottle. Its the main basis of all these overpriced products; only difference is there is no perfume and colouring in it; and its not overpriced in a bottle with fancy logos and writing over it.

Been said already but using a cheap brush with degreaser on the grimy areas then use that same brush on the paintwork and screen. Should never use a brush of any type on the paintwork and screen, just a microfibre wash mitt and ph neutral shampoo. He’s obviously not worried about swirls and marring.

acf50 good for the lungs?

I do AFC-50 myself on every wash and I never, ever use jet washer! and these degreasers are quite aggressive to other components.

Jetwash? I don't really see the need for a high pressure washer on a bike, which could do as much harm as good. A garden hose and low pressure is all that's needed. Only a few cleaning products I'd use, and Sdoc100 cleaner is one of them as it won't attack alloy like some other "market leaders". Then rinse with a garden hose or pressure washer on low pressure. This guy is not acting professionally imho...he scrubs dirty wheels and engine casings with a brush and then uses the same thing to scrub the screen! Love to see how many scratches that might have caused. I would always use a separate microfibre cloth or fleece mitt for paintwork, plastics and screens, and have a separate rinse bucket or rinse under the hose pipe. Don't use the darned brush which was used to clean crud off the bike to come anywhere near paint or screens....very basic stuff. Dry after rinsing (pet dryers are the exact same things as bike dryers but at half the cost), liberally apply ACF50, leave 10 mins and remove excess. No need to apply with a pressure system. Amazed that he didn't remove the bodywork panels which would have allowed him to get to all the hidden parts rather than blasting away with loads of ACF. Also, all paint surfaces would have needed degreasing to rid them of ACF50 before polishing (which he didn't seem to do) because the polishes won't bond or bind with the paint surface otherwise. A conventional restorative polish followed by a 50/50 IPA/water clean then a sealing polish like Meguiars LocknSeal is the proper way to do it. I wouldn't let my bike anywhere near this guy/company and and absolutely wouldn't use a jetwash on high pressure.

What about the the wheel axle grease with that degreaser

nice for a bike covered with nice tight panels! (it's like cleaning a car), give us a demo on naked bikes with fins, pipes etc jutting out all over.....

don't pressure wash your motorcycle or apply that degreaser crap all over it. WHY would the whole thing need degreased? the chain maybe and that's it.

whoooaa.. this is so overratet.... Use petroleium as a degresser.... 7$ each liter... Use standard cheap autoschampo 5$ for 100 liters (after water). 2 buckets one with the schampoo and one with clean water and there you go... works perfect.
