what’s crazy is i took my is 300 to get an oil change that was $71 on my lex app it says changing the cabin air filter will be $81 and the engine filter $63 im so glad i saw how easy it was to do it myself 😂
I actually got the same model 4 cylinder 2.0L turbo charged IS300! added a blow-off valve it sounds like a beast!!!!!! you must install one its totally worth it

any issues so far with the after market bov ? i heard installing one isn’t recommended since the turbo is small and it cause car to run rich and backfires in future ???
If I’m not mistaken your strut tower brackets are on backwards. Try and swap them and see that your bar sits lower to the engine cover which should be the proper way. 👍🏼

Question about your hood. I have a Lexus GS 350, and I’m going to replace my hood with carbon fiber. I want to primarily do this because my hood has a few scratches and rock chips, and I want to minimize painting on my car (I’m fine having the front bumper painted if the body shop can paint it off of the car, without having to do any blending on other parts of the car.) Have you thought about doing anything to protect the new carbon fiber hood from rock chips/scratches, like PPF? Your car looks great. Subscribed!

That’s okay man! They pretty much do the same thing😄 but I get where you’re coming from. I don’t know too much about D3 performance tunes, I know they have a new one coming out soon though. I’ve been looking on some Facebook forums about them, some people said they will test it out when released and let us know how it is when it comes out. I personally have the MForce tune. I have had a 4/10,000 miles and have had zero issues.

Hello! The tansowerkz hood routes the air so it doesn’t interfere with my intake, so I haven’t personally done anything. But I would get a air box cover for your intake🤷♂️
Thats a nice hood. Curious, did you do your CF mirror covers before or after you ceramic coated? I wanted to do the mirror covers and rear spoiler, but I have a 5yr coating on my whole car. Not sure how well it would hold.
Thank you! I did have my entire car ceramic coated just like yours before I put the mirror caps on. You can either put them right over the paint that has ceramic coating on it, or use isopropyl alcohol to wipe off the mirror before installing. The alcohol should take off any coatings or waxes you have on the mirror. It’s up to you. It should hold fine with the coding on there, I don’t see them flying off or anything😄 but to answer your question, I used isopropyl alcohol to take the ceramic coating off my mirrors before installing. Just because it doesn’t take much ceramic coating to re-ceramic coat them if I ever want to.
Yea I didnt want to spend the money, to have parts flying off. There are mixed reviews all over. I might contact the guy who made the coating, and see what his thoughts and removal process is.

😄I have never received this question before. Honestly, I work.. hard. And strategically save. I had saved for modifications for this car before I even bought it. I knew that when I got my next car, whatever it would be(in this case, my Lexus), that I wanted to buy modifications.
@@EliteMotoMobileMechanic I have done a lot of little things here and there. Self employed things. A couple are: sneaker reselling and detailing. I jumped into markets when they were hot. Currently, since I am a student, I work at Lowes. They offer amazing benefits.
