How to Clear California Felony Records - Certificate of Rehab, 17b and 1203.4

There are several ways to clean a criminal record. Not everything can be expunged. Delete Criminal Records Online - Remove Online Criminal Records
You got convicted a long time ago with something you did, when you were young, you paid your price, you went to jail, you did your time. You paid restitution. Now fast forward five, 10 years, you're applying for jobs and your passes still haunting you. What can you do about it?
Not All Felonies Can Be Cleared
Some felonies can't be expunged, but you can do a certificate of rehabilitation. Other felonies can be brought down to a misdemeanor and be treated as a non felony. And you may need this for the purpose of getting your gun rights back. Other felonies, can't be 17 bead, and you just have to straight out and dismiss it.
It's not the end of the World If you Cleared your Felony without Reducing it First.
A lot of people will do the expungement before during the 17 B, but I always advise to reduce it down to a misdemeanor before expunging it. A rough rule of thumb is if you did not go to prison time for your felony, chances are, it will be expungable now. And you may want to look at it to see double check it, to see whether or not this is something that you can bring down to a misdemeanor.
And also your expungement invites when you were looking at a suspended sentence hanging over your head of over a year, but you actually didn't do it in conclusion. It's important to know which dramedy to use for the purpose of cleaning up your felony record, whether or not you want to use it 1203 for a certificate of your habilitation or a 17 beam before you do an expungement. These are things that you should know, do your research on it. Don't forget to check out the resources below. It'll have expungement ebook. I am a non violent drug offender. Under 1 gram of crystal methamphetamine. The cops saw dust and weighed the bag in Hollywood ca over 14 years ago. I now cannot get a good job because of this conviction. Thanks for the info sir! I appreciate your help. 🙏

Was charged with an 11350 back in 2008. I got a 17 (b) reduction down to a misdemeanor recently. I thought it would restore my gun rights, but come to find out that an 11350 is NOT a wobbler. So, despite getting it reduced to a misdemeanor the Firearms Bureau (sub-department of the CA DOJ) will not allow me to exercise my 2A rights. What do I do now? I heard of a governor's pardon, but I also heard those are VERY hard to get. I'm a combat veteran of the US Army, so this is very important to me.

I did a motion 17b and expungement after.. my convictions were asssault with GBI and a gang enhancement.. So I have an expunged misdemeanor assault and a misdemeanor gang enhancement.. I send an Application for a COE from the DOJ.. I’ll try and comment again when I get the results..

I went to prison 2010 assault with deadly weapon GBI got off parole 2016 it’s been seven years almost since off parole 12 to 13 years since I committed a crime the judge told me my crime is not eligible to be expunged is my crime eligible to beA part of 17 be downgraded from a felony to a misdemeanor I was told only certificate of rehabilitation but it is so hard to get they told meI would love to have it downgraded so I can attack it and have it expunged

I got a 245 a wall involved in a shooting. Nobody actually got hurt though. My lawyer actually lied to me told me to let them suspend my license. It turned out. It was a permanent suspension when I was 19. I’m now 39 really need my license for my family’s benefit and my own

Man. My lawyer did a 1203.4 not a 17b. The judge did grant the 1203.4 but I want my gun rights back. Can U help, I’m pretty sure my charge was a woobler? The case was in Solano County. :/

I pled guilty to a felony 245a1 back in 2010. I believe it should have been a misdemeanor to begin with but the DA wouldn’t drop it in order for me not to do jail time and I was trying to avoid jail time due to my daughter. I just recently filed for expungement with help from another video of yours. I haven’t been in trouble since and have completed everything require. My question is do you think I’m eligible and if so all my family are hunters is there any chance of me getting my gun rights back for hunting

Your family being hunters has nothing to do with anything. Expungements do not grant gun rights back, you'll have to get pardoned. The main criteria for that is 5 years of no criminal offenses after Probation/Parole has terminated.

Today i signed a disclosure statement that has nothing to do with my past record...im afraid the info disclosed could hinder my integrity as i had substance abuse..over 10 years ago..the disclosure could affect my husbands return to work..in a zero tolerance job..what will show up after 10 years? I was living in California. .the disclosure i signed this morning is in Arizona!! My past could look bad for his future...what can i do? 1999 conviction Possession of silencer and misdemeanors explosives, domestic abuse .I was granted expungement approximately 10 years later. I believe I still need a Certificate of Rehabilitation and pardon to restore gun rights. (In was a full time Probation Officer at the time)

Hi I love the video and want to know if my case was able to expunge. I grew up hunting fishing and had gotten into trouble when I was younger I plead guilty possession of firearm and a gang enhancement. I it was back in 2008 over 12 years I’m a changed person now have a great job and family.

I was convinced at 18 for 246 discharging a firearm in an inhabited dwelling. I know this charge is a violent felony. It’s a strike able offense that doesn’t carry halftime. I wasn’t the shooter; I was the driver. Due to the circumstances, I was eligible for halftime, and I did not receive a strike. I served prison time from 2002 to 2009. I got off parole and have been going straight ever since. I’m just wondering if I’m eligible for the certificate of rehabilitation and how do I go about filing for the certification of rehabilitation without a lawyer, or do I need a lawyer?

I was charged with 2 different gun cases both charged as wobblers from I recall the da saying that, both charges are P.C 12031 (a)(1) ,never did prison time for either case ,did county jail time for one of those cases , those cases are years apart ,non violent cases ,i have another resisting arrest charge pc 148 (a)(1),that’some how ended with my firearms relinquished ,record doesn’t say if temp or for life ,I have dockets for all my cases ,I have filled some paper work on my own ,have completed all debts some were even discharged due to Covid 19 pandemic,where do I go from here sir can you help I am on a low budget sir ???

you ned to check if you did more than a year in jail. in many cases a person receives an executed suspned stence where thye get prison time hung over there head but not acutally setence. if this is the case then it is treted as non prison then the answer is yes. if you did prison time then you would be alooking at a ertificate of rehab,
