How to clear Check Engine Light on Toyota Sienna

This turned off the light for me and allowed me to pass emissions (in CO). Whatever test they did kicked it back on again but they must have checked for the light before doing it. Thanks!

It looks very easy to fix but I have to wait for someone to do it for me I never open to doing any kind of things to my car my son or my husband does. Is it ok to drive if the check engine light is on or we must have to fix it first.? Thanks.

Check engine lights comes "ON" for a reason. Yes that light can be reset in any means but it will go back if the issue is not really address correctly. Most of the time engine light comes on if there are issue on emission control.

Here's what worked on my 2006 Toyota Sienna: With ignition off, you push and hold the black TRAC OFF button under the Steering Wheel to the lower right for 2-3 seconds. Then release it. Then, start the vehicle, and press and hold the button *again* during the dash lights power up sequence for 2-3 seconds, then release it. Booyah! Problem fixed. Of course, I'm not sure of which button pushing sequence did it (before start or after start), but no more annoying light. _UPDATE September 2018: This also works with the "Check Engine" light if it's on by itself without the VSC TRAC OFF lights. Mine was on, so I took it to the Auto Parts Store and they did a diagnostic. After that, I tried this little button trick and it worked. Not sure if connecting the diagnotic unit to it FIRST had anything to do with my botton trick working, but I thought I'd add it in just in case._

I got a p0125 coolant temperature ,I replaced and d thermostat and light comes back

It worked. It reset the light. Now, if it comes back on it's probably an C02 sensor, but as least I know it's not a SERIOUS hard failure yet.

Easy way. Disconnect the negative on the battery. I cleared the engine check light. But worry the EVAP system problem.

use the clip to take fuse out bro. don't use plier

damn, wtf music? clod fingers easy to break the fuse with the needle nose pliers, use the right tool. Check engine lights are on for a reason.
