Howdy, I have a pond that's just over two acres and 9 feet at it's deepest. It was just mucked out with an excavator. No fish live in it. it's home of hundreds of turtles, a millions of tree frogs, and countless dragon flies. There are no water inlet or outlets. Can it be made healthier? Thanks in advance.
So I bought a farm that has a pond fed by 3 spring that dump 100s of gallons of water into pond per hour so chemicals are flushed out fast and the local guys call it duck weed but the piano stays green on top and looks awful what can I do ? Please help
When I was a kid in the 70's my dad welded tie-offs to an old hay mower blade. We'd throw it out in the pond and drag it back in with a rope. As I recall we'd do this once before the spawn and then a couple more times over the summer. It didn't take long because we did it so often so maybe an hour on a one acre pond. Good luck.
