In this tutorial, you'll learn how to upgrade your NVME in just a few simple steps. By using the free Hasleo Backup Suite Version 3.4, you can quickly clone your old NVMe hard drive to a new one and migrate your Windows Operating System to a faster NVMe for faster performance.
Instruction For Manually Change The Boot Device in BIOS

To manually change the boot device in the computer BIOS, follow these two steps:
Step 1: Restart the computer and press the designated key (usually F2, F1, F8, F10, F11, F12, or Del) when prompted to enter the BIOS.
Step 2: Navigate to the 'Advanced Settings' or 'Boot Priority List' section and locate the current boot disk in the priority list. Change the order so that the new disk is set as the priority #1. Remember to save the settings before exiting the BIOS.

It worked! Fully copied my SSD with windows, despite the fact that it had over 30 bad sectors. Macrium Reflect wouldnt do it despite marking Ignore Bad Sectors. But this tool never even mentioned the bad sectors, it just powered through half a terabyte in 30 minutes, no fuss.

i have been using this program. Kudos to whoever made it. Just a simple backup/restore ... that's all I needed. I've only seen 2 processes running in the back ground. Is it possible to make a full back up instead of incremental? I didn't find any info on the site about it. Again, kudos to whoever made this prog!!

My new disk is listed as (Basic Data Partition) still after the cloning. Meanwhile the original says (Boot, Crash Dump, Basic Data Partition). Did the cloning go wrong?

No. It's ok! your computer can boot up with the new hard drive then the cloning is successful.

when I dragged my NTFS it barely moved, I only 32MB of unallocated afterwards, so once I dragged D: NTFS it copied everything pretty much not just windows and I have duplicate files that I cannot delete. What did I do wrong?

You can either manually move partition to the end of the disk or simple enter 0 in the box named "Unallocated Space After". The same thing can be done for D drive when you extend it using the unallocated space.

Thank you, very helpful. Only that the NVME I want to clone to is in an external enclosure and connected via USB-C. The program keeps telling me that it cannot clone to an external USB drive.

Thanks for the update. That could its limitation. There could be one workaround, which is to backup the original disk to an image on an usb, swap the disk, and recover that image to the new disk.

Hasleo has an other program called "Win to USB" which makes portable copies of C:\ drive . It works like " Win to Go"

Cloning docks for the win. I've got SATA to SATA dock (2.5" & 3.5") and a M.2 to M.2 dock. Easy peasy, fast & trustworthy.

Will "Keep partition layout" shrink the destination disk to match the source disk capacity? And why should we avoid "Sector by sector clone entire disk"? Thank you in advance.

Keep partition layout" option will maintain the same partition structure on the destination disk as the source disk, but it may not automatically shrink the destination disk to match the source disk capacity. As for "Sector by sector clone entire disk," it copies every sector of the source disk, including empty ones which can be inefficient. It's best to avoid this option.

Please help. I am getting the error that this program does not support cloning windows to a USB drive. Please try another product. How can I solve it, even though I'm using the NVME SSD, software is showing it as a USB.

Have you tried to plug the nvme to M.2 slot? Have you tried to use other tool like portable Disk Genius?

Does anyone know of an offline user manual for this program? I really like backing up things like this to my offline PC. Thanks!! This program is better than Acronis. Acronis USED to be an excellent program, simple back up and restore. They've added so much useless security crap that windows already does. Acronis has 12+ processes running in the back ground..just NOT needed. Hasleo is simple back up/restore.

@@WindowsTips101 any brand. actually I cloned an old OCZ Revodrive3 x2 pcie ssd to the Samsung pro 980 nvme. it will detect, read and write all drives. you are not linked to Samsung disks only. it's a great tool

With all the scams out there, how can one be certain that these downloadable tools are legit and secure?

1. Upload the file to virustotal.com and let 70 engines scan for malware. If the result is something like "no detect" or "clean" then it's good. 2. Download and install Malwarebytes Anti-malware on you local machine if you haven't done so. Use it to scan any download file one more time to make sure it's good. 3. If you still suspect, check it one more time by uploading it to opentip.kaspersky.com and let the online tool to analyse it to find if there is any harmful code. 4. Turn on ransomware protection on your windows if you haven't done so. P.S. Even though the companies are legit and in the business for decades, we still have to go through those steps to protect our computers.
