This box squat is like the type George Keenan uses but different then the type Dave Tate and Louie Simmons do. Dave Tate and Louie Simmons demonstrate the version were the ankle is slightly forward of the knee. This as I recall activates the hamstrings to a greater degree.
It's almost like a Sumo stance like with the deadlift, isn't it? I have definitely had too-narrow a stance with my box squats. I just did them today but want to get back in the gym to do another leg day tomorrow!
Yes but Anderson Pin Squat is more pro maybe because you still rock from bottom sagittaly a tiny bit even you mention you are not, poorly mimicking real squat motion especially if your stance is medium or narrow, APS solves that💪🏿🦍
Michał Ostrowski when you got to stand up, think of driving your shoulders into the bar. This is first. It will help keep you up right when things get heavy.
