How To Complete "Under Construction" Mysterium Gold Medal in Spider-Man 2 (STEP-BY-STEP) 

I feel like they never actually playtested this one. 1 Minute for 20 enemies requires constant attacking which gets frequently interrupted by all the ranged enemies covering the map shooting at you and stopping your flow. If they added an extra 10 or 20 seconds to it it'd be a lot more fair.

This happened to be the very first mysterium I attempted, and I was almost demotivated to go for all of the gold medals before I realized that the rest were nowhere near as difficult

The fact this is the closest one to you after you unlock them is kinda evil

For anyone else who wants to do it without lowering the game speed or changing the difficulty - throwing things is by far the biggest time saver, also make use of your venom powers. When multiple enemies are grouped on a platform you can knock a lot of them off with a single ability. The triangle ability (forget what it's called) is also great for getting to the final few enemies as fast as possible. I also managed to do this with only a second left. Took me about 5 or 6 tries after finding this video. Definitely not easy, but doable.

I changed the difficulty and was able to complete it in 0:44. Use the ‘sound bomb’ gadgets for the enemies on the side. Use the venom explosion when you have multiple enemies on one platform and use the web grabbers for that. Also, don’t use the finishers that much and use the triangle skill to quickly teleport to other platforms

this mysterium is my most hated mysteriums out of the rest. under a min to defeat all 20 enemies who happened to be very spread out is completely an unreasonable time. like u have to be able to insta kill enemies with one hit to pull that shit off which is impossible

Did it in 0:50 using these tips. Using the L3 R3 ability to take out like 3/4 at one time is really helpful

It’s difficult but doable. Game speed 50% beat it in 52s on Spectacular. When you slow the game down you’re able to think and make better moves. I used throw items to knock enemies on the platforms off the edge…Enemies that were in a group of 3 or more I used ”web grabbers” followed by “reverse flux”.

this is by far the hardest mysterium to get gold on lol. knocking out 20 enemies in under a minute on anything higher than amazing difficulty is almost impossible, especially since there are no walls near the spawns that they can be easily webbed to

Finally found a super easy method of gaining gold on this challenge. Managed 50 seconds on spectacular difficulty. The trick is to instantly go for the middle group, so an uppercut and get the enemy high enough so that the fall would KO them. Once they’re high enough, use the web grabber on them (R1 + Square) which will tether all the enemies to the single one, including various objects. Once they’re all tethered, you can either let them drop, or use a venom blast to KO multiple enemies at once. By the second attempt, you’d likely have 15 enemies defeated. The rest can be quickly demolished by yanking their weapon and throwing at them, thus dropping them off the ledge.

A mission that basically requires you to lower both the difficulty and the game speed in order to complete it in the required time _is a _*_very_*_ poorly designed mission._

I don’t get why this one is so tough when I’ve had no trouble with any other challenge. It doesn’t feel tense. It just feels tedious.

Managed to get 50 I recommend using the web group grabber and the lightning disappear and don’t focus on the finisher it speeds up your game

This video was my saving grace! Tried it about 4 times on amazing difficulty with 25% of the game completed, 100% game speed, only about a quarter of the skill tree filled out for miles, using no gadgets, with basic abilities (venom punch, venom dash, and venom smash) to no luck (obviously). I saw a video that suggested turning the difficulty to friendly neighborhood (I know taking away some of the challenge) and game speed to 30%. Three tries in I got a record of 1:01 and almost gave it up completely. Gave it one more try and somehow got :53. Glad I never have to do that again 🤧😭

I was trying to beat this for forever and after I watched this I slowed it down to 30% and after a handful of tries I finally beat it in one minute exactly

this one felt like it should have a recomended level on it, very tough without certain skills or powers

This was grueling my first play through on spectacular. I didn’t even know you could change the gameplay speed so I barely beat it with a second to spare after so many freaking attempts.

Got it in 52 seconds with this surprisingly, get very lucky with throwing stuff and use your finishers at the end bc they move way faster than other moves in 30 game speed and the last enemies are grounded up as well

Got it at 54 seconds, finally. Lowered difficulty to Friendly Neighborhood and lowered game speed to 70%

I finished in 0:59 on my 2nd attempt. Just upgrade your self all the way and use triangle to zip up around. Don’t throw anything just beat them quick with the L1 skills and R1 skills

Life hack: change the difficulty to Friendly Neighborhood then change it back to where it was after you’re done.

Changed the settings and did it in 50 seconds first try thank you so much bro. Throwing all the objects floating around the center helped me a lot and looking around in slow motion as I’m attacking an enemy to see who to target next or what was around me in general help a lot also

If you yank them towards you it’s much quicker as long as you have aerial damage active. Done it in 41secs

I knew Insomniac were really good at custom settings but didn’t even know they had a game speed setting like that

I hate that this was the first mysterium I did. I lost confidence on doing the others and I did them last. I retried this one after I finished the others and I was able to get gold at exactly 1 min. It took me a couple tries but its doable without slowing it down

I thought i was just bad, but when i hear “put your game on 30% velocity” i was like, oh ok.

Once you turn the difficulty into Friendly Neighborhood it’s a lot easier, did it within 40 seconds

I had a hard time on this at first so i look up videos. But i didn't want to lower difficulty or slow down time. I still did it on spectacular and normal speed and got gold. The web grabber help alot and concussion burst aim for three. Damage upgrade to 6 to get air marshal and floor is lava can kill enemies in air in a few hits, in one if hit by items or web grabber. Did it in 58 sec. Did it all when mysteriums first appear didnt have burst but would have help along with last two damage upgrade.

this one is actually so unfair, 1:30 would be a perfect gold medal time

Finally completed this on hardest difficulty with 56 seconds. Just spammed the shit outta all the gadgets and abilities til something worked. Someone please tell me this is the hardest one

It was easy for me to complete this one with gold medal. Just needed to use mega venom blast when there were 3 or so enemies nearby. If you continue attacking you will have at least two more venom blast available.

Just need to use your gadgets and web shooter abilities wisely. Normal speed on amazing, 55 seconds. Mind you, it's still a challenge.

Upgraded the concussion web shooter and knocked all the guys off the platform. Dont have to even hit them once.
