I called up some scammers who I thought were still pulling a CRA tax scam, but they had mysteriously morphed their script... Well, that wasn't going to stop me from attempting to completely derail their script and waste their time to the point of utter frustration. Enjoy.

Have you ever tried asking the "CRA" to be served in French? As you may know, the Canadian government is obligated to serve you in your choice of our two official languages. I would love to see the clueless reaction of the scammer who studied so hard just to get their English to the bare minimum level to pretend to be employed by the government, only to be answered in French. Unfortunately, I have a feeling it would be a very short call. Though you could always call back and flood their lines with French.

Was visiting my family in Canada and they got the call. Started in French but was told that the "French Speaking guy is not working today"!!! So I spoke in English with a joual accent! Told him my name is Guy Lafleur and i live at 10 rue Ostie Tabarnak de Calisse, in Abitibi Temiscamingue. Totally fucked with his puny brain, I reckon he is still in therapy!!!

When I was calling scammers I had one of these on the phone. I gave him a fake name and fake SSI and he gave me the EXACT same script. Even down to the car being in Texas. I told them I owned a car dealership and I had a lot of money. I had them on the phone for a good hour. I got to the point where they wanted me to take pictures of my ID and I just hung up. I felt good that I wasted over an hour of that asshole's time.

The funny thing is, I used to work in a retail store that sold computer tech, and we had customers like Hoax Hotel on the phone with us multiple times a day, every day that I was employed there. Mr. Hoax perfectly imitates these people who we always had to talk to. Yes. There are REAL people who are like this and I had to talk to them every day... for years.... and sometimes... I would even have to deal with them when they came into the store.
