There's already tons of videos featured on RU-vid University teaching lessons on high intensity action music, and how to make them. Don't get me wrong, I'm all into that as well. But what's also needed yet not talked about often enough are those slow brewing sort of scenes where the tension rises and eventually comes to a climax. All while dialogue is taking place.
This voiceless tutorial goes over 2 things: (a) how to compose music that rises in tension and (b) how to compose music that stays out of the way of dialogue.
