if it bursts out often it is a good idea to cut the end of hose to get down to clean unstretched hose tip again. this may be harder/tighter to refit so just put end tip of hose in a small tub of hot water for a short time. it will warm up and this allows you to easily stretch/loosen the hose onto the adaptor for a more secure fitting. hose will cool down and shrink around fitting. tips my dad showed me.

I broke my rents hose making a cone piece so thjs was a life saver

I've done this but as soon as I turn the tap and have pressed the trigger the water build up pressure in the hose and it pops off the tap completely

That hose was so tight I thought you'd need the KY for a minute, like yourself I'm an older guy, I can only manage that amount of spray after twelve pints of lager!

You make it look so easy. But I wynt to a garden party and didn't manige to connect with any hos. (sry abt speling)
