Dude thank you so much this is the best video out there no talking just pure demonstrations and u showed the BNC connectors too awesome awesome awesome keep it up!!!!!!
Goddamn of ALL the tutorial videos on youtube on how to setup oscilloscopes on synths...yours is the most straight to the point of them all. AND YOU HAVE THE JU-06A as well which makes it even MORE easier for me. Subbed and Liked. 5/5
I have an old oscilloscope (tektronix 212) with only two probes. Can't get it to trace anything. What is the alligator clip connected to at the beginning of your tutorial?
I’m trying to hook up my stereo synth prophet 6 to a two stereo Channel oscilloscope but I’m lost. If using all those adapter I use the headphone out to input in the oscilloscope channels ? Then I can use my stereo outs on my synth to my main interface / speakers to hear the signal as well... ? You lost me at the minute mark when you had one plugged into your headphones then one out of the output ..... what’s being plugged into each channel of the oscilloscope the y cable from the headphone out into channels of oscilloscope ?? Ahhhhhh someone help
Did you figure it out? I'm not sure what was up with the out put connection either. I thought it was as simple as hooking up the oscilloscope's in leads to one end of a basic 3.5 cable then plugging the other end to your synth's headphone out jack...🤷🏻♂️ With the synth's output leads to your mixer and tada! I may be talking complete nonsense since I'm researching all this BEFORE I buy an oscilloscope...
@@BendApparatus From headphone / Stereo out use a 1/4” Jack > RCA split to split the stereo signals into two mono’s, then use RCA ends to connect to > BNC adapters ( male) on the oscilloscope. Still waiting on my adapters haven’t tried yet but been talking to couple people and forums they said this should do the trick. Hope this helps. Or from external outputs use two single Jack RCA >BNC Adapters
@@BendApparatus hahaha yeh i guess ...I got nice gear.... alligator clips sound sketchy to me don’t wanna fry any of my gear on accident. I mean most likely won’t but don’t wanna risk it. I’d say alligator clips would be more for testing signals / wave cycles on the fly... it’s always better to have a straight up physical connection but then again it’s subjective.
I bought everything needed, didn't work, then entire universal connectors and have every setting g perfect and still nothing from my Sequential Pro 3 SE. Thanks for nothing wasting my time. I will watch someone that knows how to teach
