I don't know how long it took me to find a way to connect my headphone to my laptop. I guess a week? I almost got frustrated. When I came across your video, I could not believe I paired my headphone instantly by following your instruction. Thank you so much.
Same here tplink usb bluetooth adaptor on a gaming computer. Soundcore Liberty 4 NC earpods. I had to go here to learn how to connect it. Thanks ! Subscribed!
You must be a lucky charm :) I've been trying to pair my headphones with my laptop for over an hour - doing the exact same steps as here - but for some reason when I listened to your video and retried it, it works! Thank you :D
Same thing LITERALLY just happened to me smh worked on it forever. Listened to this video (i was doing the exact same steps the entire time) and then it worked lol
I've been looking for the solution to this problem for quite a while now. The thing that nags me is that these Bluetooth headphones work fine with iOS and Android but not with Windows. I've been trying to use my Bluetooth headphones for video conferencing on my windows laptop, the problem I am facing is that the other person can hear me but I can't hear them. It makes me wonder that these headphones have two systems in them, one is for calling and stuff and the other for listening to music and other stuff. What I think is happening that windows isn't able to switch between them because once my mic turns on, I don't receive any audio from the other end, which doesn't happen on my phone. I think it's more of a compatibility issue
it says How to Connect Bluetooth Headphones to PC . i was expecting a tutorial on what is needed to connect a bluetooth device to a PC. but it did not say anything about checking if your PC is bluetooth capable or if you need to install a bluetooth dongle or a bluetooth PCI card
LEGEND! I have Marshall Major IV. I basically turned them on then held the gold knob down for 4 secs to activate Bluetooth mode. The laptop found it instantly - thanks!
You're most of the way there once you connect the headset. If you click on the speaker icon in your system tray (bottom right hand corner), is the headset configured as your default playback device?
Bluetooth and Windows always means trouble for me. I have tried several Bluetooth headsets and Bluetooth adaptors, also tried on both Windows 7, 8.1 and Windows 10 setups, but it always gave me troubles. At first it works fine usually, until you disconnected and try to reconnect again. Either it doesn't connect anymore at all, or it doesn't see the headset as audio device, or applications are not putting audio onto the headset, but using the cabled speakers instead. Even removing the bluetooth device when at trouble point, seems to be impossible.
My QC 35s had no problem connecting to my laptop either. Even with the Racer Viper Ultimate wireless dongle attached. But move them to my main PC and suddenly I have sound and connection issues. Typical Windows.
This video is a gem, the fact that I did everything except press the pairing button on my Skullcandy Hesh Evo headphones makes soo much sense now!! Immediate Like and Subbed for your channel, thank you!!!!
@@bateman7454 if mother board dosent support bluetooth you can buy a bluetooth adapter its cheap and it makes your pc non bluetooth to bluetooth compatible. i did that with mine.
Thank you! I didn't knew that my earbuds had a "pairing mode" and was trying all sorts of things to make my computer find it, just if I knew it was this simple...
Thank you so much. I've had the Bauhn headphones for about 2 years. I threw away the box n then couldn't work out why these headphones didn't work/ pairing. Thought they were just faulty. Thought I've had enough hoping the headphones were OK. So I decided to look up on youtube, n your channel showed n tried to activate the headphones they way you have mentioned n worked perfectly. :) All I had to do was press n hold the play button n wait for the saying its pairing. The so go to settings on my phone n press bluetooth n press for pairing in its all works well, thankyou.
Many Desktop PCs actually dont support Bluetooth on their own. You should check that out, because if so, you cant just "turn bluetooth on", as your PC lacks the hardware. In that case you can buy a bluetooth USB stick though, which emitts and recieves bluetooth Signals, so you can connect your device
ughhhhh, thanks so much, I've just installed a new motherboard with built in Wi-Fi and now I don't have to rely on my Wi-Fi dongle. my Bluetooth headphones weren't connecting even though I've had them connected before, and it turns out you have to re-pair any devices if you get a new Bluetooth/ Wi-Fi receiver, this video helped a tonne
Thank you so much! I was trying to pair my headphones with my laptop and I couldn't but I was missing one simple step I didn't push all the way over the button. I appreciate you video
Thank you so much! That little thing about holding the button all the way over to actually be in pairing mode worked! I thought it was just a silly detail that wouldn't work, but it did! Thanks!
I have trouble getting Bluetooth headphones to use both the microphone and the headphones simultaneously on Windows 10; I can always pick the use of one or the other in the options, but whenever I pick one, the other does not work. Any tips? This happens across multiple computers and multiple headphones.
Thanks Kevin very clear. However every time that I want my headphones to connect I have to go through the procedure of going to settings, and then devices , and then Bluetooth and other devices, and then to wait until they all load, and then find my headphones, and then click on connect. Phew!!. Wouldn't it be nice to have a shortcut on my desktop that says Headphones and another that says speakers That would give me an extra 30seconds of life back each time I need to connect.
Cannot connect with sony earbuds 1000xm3. Shows up as connected under Bluetooth devices. Sound continues to play through monitor speaker. What's odd is that I can hear the ambient noise function through the earbuds, but no sound. Even in VLC, when playing a movie, I can choose 'headphone 1000xm3' for playback, but no sound.Even stranger, when I try to watch a video with 1000xm3 earbuds chosen, the youtube video won't even play. When I go back to the default listening device, the monitor speaker, the video plays again. I finally got a sound connection but its distorted and garbled and intermittent.
For those with headphones like mine, whose pairing mode doesn't start, just turn them off and then hold the power button for around 6 seconds, they will turn on and then turn on the pairing mode
*The first time you need to have a special device for this that connects to the PC. Trying to connect a pair of bluetooth headphones to your PC without this device is like wondering why you can't use the Windows recorder app when you don't have a microphone.
You are a super presenter Kevin. I have to say however your instructions don't mimic what I viewed on my computer PC (HP Pavillion 23) Windows 10 for Bluetooth pairing. I do hear "ready to connect." When trying to pair via Bluetooth I click the + sign in Bluetooth & Other Device Settings. You show different files, on my screen, however, I see COULDN'T CONNECT. I viewed numerous UTubes about fixing COULDN'T CONNECT, and none of them worked. I finally gave up and used the Audio cable from headphones (Bose Quietcomfort - 45) to the headphone jack on the computer. Now I can hear your presentation via my headphones. Originally had a headphone jack plugged into Blue Yeti - no go, didn't work. After plugging in the 3.5 on the headphone jack on the computer - works. Seems everyone wants to pair to their cell phone. Not me. Now I have to get the Blue Yeti mic to work - I see in Devise Manager for the Blue DFU for the mic, "drivers unavailable." Have spent 3 full days trying to get this to work. Am not some "country bumpkin" - 5 degrees, including a Ph.D. (marine geology) and a MA in Professional and Technical Communication. Bose should release whoever writes their instructions, would not pass a grad degree program. Speakers came with zero instructions. Thanks for listening to my wooo's. Do keep up the good posts! Hope you and your family had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Mort (just like the salt - Morton) : )
hi! Of course if someone have minimum knowledge will find that way, btw... do you have in your pc bluetooth dongle or build-in bluetooth transmitter? I'm asking because just bough sennheiser 4.40 BT and I'm starting to worry how to connect them...Normally I connected old pair by mini jack to hifi amplifier, as far as I know amp. don't have transmitter, only receiver(denon rcd-m41dab). So two ways left for me-buy for amplifier transmitter(worry about delays when play games), another way buy transmitter for motherboard. Please say if I'm right? Or any suggestions very welcome. Greetings, Tom.
Thank you so much! Had issues with this.... my Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop just wasn't finding my Bluetooth headset - Your way had successful outcome! Yeah!
I have a Sony WH-H910N headset and also on windows 10, I've tried this numerous times but the headset connects and shows in the other devices section rather than audio. Has anyone else had an issue like this and got a solution to pairing correctly so you can actually listen through the headphones?
If anyone is having issues with the PC not being able to detect your BT device like I was, just buy a TP Link Bluetooth Nano adapter. I bought one, plugged it in and it instantly solved all the issues - detects all Bluetooth devices, connects in seconds, never lags, never disconnects. The best $10 I've spent in a long time.
0:54 You forgot to inform people that you need to turn on you Bluetooth on your computer. I don’t have this step so my computer isn’t Bluetooth compatible
Thank you so much, very helpful, maybe you can answer this question, can I use this headphones on another devices like a tv ?...again thank you for posting.
Hello, am frustrated don't know what is a good headphones to get on a limited budget following your instructions in video. I got a cheap one but it doesn't work only when I plugged into PC which of course defeats the whole purpose of using it. What advice can you please give me?
