Thanks Kevin! I really enjoyed your explanations. One of my favorite features of Windows 11 is that you can connect your smartphone with your laptop. When you press the windows key and type in smartphone, it will appear. If you're in the same Wifi Network, you can connect and see messages, photos and notifications! Awesome 😍😍😍

I have word files identified by numbers: 410, 515-525, 600, etc. Every day I look at these files and the numbers should be separated by commas; instead, the commas are often replaced with ^j ^j, etc. I keep changing that back to commas, but the program stubbornly puts in ^j, ^j...! How do I stop that?

@Ananya Gurnani To do keyboard shortcuts, you hold down the keys in order. So in this case, win+a means you hold "win" (the windows logo keys) and then while holding "win", press and release the "a" key on your keyboard. Once you press the "a" key, you can stop holding the "win" key. Hope this helps.

A few are new or improved (short cut keys like Win+A,Win+N,Win+Z,Win+W, dictation with auto punctuation, mouse cursor gets picked up by screen recorders, re-designed emoji picker) and many have existed on previous versions. The common thread is that they're all somewhat hidden and less well known. Cheers!

Kevin, Here's a problem I have. I really enjoyed your explanations of the new Windows 11 features but there's one feature from older Windows versions that I can't find and miss a lot. In W10 it was possible to drag and drop a file into another program or app even if it was not visible on the screen. Simply hover the file over the taskbar symbol for the target app and it would open to the surface. Is there a way to do this in W11 or an add on that will accomplish it?

@@DineshKumar-wl2hv Here is what I now do: Using the mouse hover over the maximize feature in the upper right hand corner of the source window. Not as good but better than nothing.

Thank you for this quick formatted and informative video. I had not explored Win 10 very much and do appreciate knowing all this for Win 11. QUESTION: Now that I'm on Win 11 Home, I can no longer drag an item from one app to another on the Task Bar. When two apps were maximized in Win 10, I could drag something from the foreground app onto the Task Bar over the background app, that app would automatically maximize and I could drop the item. Here in Win 11, I can still do that when both apps are visible, but not when the background app is hidden. Is this a setting somewhere or did Microsoft restrict this feature in the new OS? Thanks!

W11 content suggestion . . . I have an AIO computer in my kitchen. It´s sitting on the wall and we use it mostly to browse recepies and whatch chefs' videos and follow the cooking process. It worked like a giant tablet (W10 had a "tablet" mode.) With W10 it worked great. Now, I installed W11 and lost that tablet feeling. One key feature is lost, before, with W10, I used to get the onscreen keyboard automatically (same as a smartphone) to enter text. Anyway, it would be great to hear from you on the changes or behavior/features of W11+tablets. Good job Kev
