Well done boss, I've watched most of your videos and I'm glad I came across your page. You are doing well and I want you to do the video you talked about. Can I connect with you cos I would love to ask so many questions and learn from you? Where are you base, boss?
But what will happen to the black/negative wire coming from the grid if the black wire from the inverter go directly to the DB? Thanks bro I will be expecting your response
@okparamichael1690 the negative from the grid is already on the db,connecting the inverter negative to the db means connecting to the grid(common neural)
@@colcent_solar when inverter negative meet with grid negative in the DB I hope it won't cause fire because when there's power from the grid and the inverter is also working and charging it at the process, wires from two different source is it safe?. your own connection makes me feel I won't be going to the change over always whenever nepa takes the light or bring it back and that will be great..Boss please can you shed more light abeg
Yes, that is if the knife switch changeover is in down position 👇,the inverter automatically changes its output from nepa to solar and vise versa, Else No
It is not advisable for safety reasons to have all the neutral connection and isolate only the live, different powers sources need a complete isolation from each other, love your explanation though
Charge the inverter? Do you mean charge the battery? Most inverters have 1 AC input, and there are settings to set priority on what you want to charge the battery at any moment. It's not possible to power the inverter without. 1) Solar panels. 2) Batteries. 3) AC input. So when you turn on your gen, just put off the inverter or eliminate the AC input and get power from other sources.
