I’ve had this sound bar for a couple of years and kept thinking I missed something in the manual because I couldn’t figure out how to set them up wirelessly. I really appreciate your clarification. Shame on Samsung! This is the reason why I purchased this model. I thought the small speakers could go in back of the sofa wirelessly.
Question. What gauge wire is used with samsung speakers and where can I get it? I need to put the rear speakers farther than the factory wire will allow, thanks
Hi Juan! I bought a Samsung Q800t here in the Philippines, but my Rear Speakers SWA 9000S was bought in the US. I cant fit the wireless dongle (from my rear speaker kit) to my main soundbar. My questions is: Do I need the wireless dongle to have a 5.1 surround? (The rear speaker box have a stable non-blinking blue dot but the sound coming from the rear speakers doesnt seem to have a 5.1 surround sound separation based on different 5.1 surround tests on You Tube).
Hi Juan, I followed your setup tutorial on my soundbar, the light on the main unit is blinking a blue light after I pressed the volume button for five seconds, and it still did not connect. Meanwhile, the long soundbar is connected, but the sounds go in and out. Any advice? Thanks
I got this setup for Christmas last year everything worked great for a while and then a couple weeks ago my rear speakers just disconnected and I can’t figure out how to reconnect them. I know I watched this video before when originally setting it up but now it’s not working what the f.
Hello how are you? My husband and I just purchased the Samsung Q 50 and the rear speakers are not working they are compatible because it came with the sound bar what else could be the problem why the rear speakers are not working?
Bluetooth speakers with lights I recommend dindinmodern audio. And I've been using it for a year now and it still works great. The price is also very good.
You have to go to the specs on your model of soundbar. It will specifically tell you what model will link with your specific model of soundbar. Because unfortunately not all rear speakers or subwoofers are compatible with each other. I have the new Q80B soundbar and had to specifically order my rear speakers and subwoofer to match and link with my soundbar. If you can't find the information you need then it's best to reach out to Samsung directly for answer's. Hopefully this helps or you already got what you needed.
Hey Juan, got a question. The 9000s speakers for the q80r soundbar are discontinued here in Canada. Would the 9100s work ? Or do you think the new 9500s are gonna work ?
Hi, a friend is running this kit with front speakers and subwoofer all connected to a samsung dvd or blu ray player. We do not use the blu ray that much, is it possible to connect the whole rig directly to a samsung tv and skip the player connection ?
@juan camacho, I just bought this set. What does "left" mean? Is it when I'm sitting on couch, heading on TV screen, should the speaker be on my left side? OR does it mean when I'm standing in front of my couch and watch rear speakers?
I would imagine it means speakers on your left side when sitting down on your couch. Not as if you're standing infront of the couch looking at the wall which would be your right side. Which way did you set yours up and did it work?
Problem with channel separation -- wireless kit came with soundbar, and with a little playing with the wired connection to each rear speaker, was able to hear sound from them (although not much volume). However, when testing with various 7.1 sound tests from RU-vid (ie: a tone from each speaker), the rear speakers did not have their own separate tone. I'm lost as to how to resolve this.
@@roguemapper248 me pasa lo mismo. Same problem. I think this rear speakers are a 4.1 solution, not 5.1. My question is... are the reapeting front right and left speakers? I have connected them to a k550 samsung sound bar
Question. I bought an "open box" Samsung Soundbar that did not come with a remote, but I had no problem hooking the soundbar up to my tv (also a Sam). Then I purchased some Sam rear speakers, also open box, (because I'm a cheap bastard), and they, too, came without a remote. I am, so far, unable to hook them up and I was curious if you had any tips on how to do so or should I just buy a replacement remote for the soundbar? Thanks for any help!!!
I would personally purchase a spare remote for your speakers. The other thing you want to check is that your rear speakers are the proper model to go with your soundbar and subwoofer if you have one.
Not a deal breaker but it is a little dispiriting having to deal with those wires. On the bright side, once everything is set up it sounds great and gives the sound a _lot_ more depth.
I can’t figure out how to connect the included wireless rear speakers with my HW-Q910B soundbar system. Samsung instructions, well image in on booklet, way too small to read. Could you help? Thanks
Any suggestions? Exact setup, mine has worked fine for a few years. Moved and set it all back up, connected fine. Not sure if this is when it happened but wife was cleaning and unhooked right wireless speaker. Can’t get it to connect now. Sound bar and sub are connected fine, wireless speakers won’t. I have blinking blue light, and tried every possible work around on google. Only thing I haven’t tried that was suggested was to dc sub, do wireless first. But can’t find a way to dc/reset sub. Any suggestions on anything I could try?
When I try to increase the volume on the rear speakers, it just says “on/off” and it won’t adjust the volume. How can I fix this? Absolutely no sound comes out of my rear speakers currently. Light is blue meaning a connection is established. Please help.
Push setting once more to get to rear speaker level. Hold down setting button. There's a series of frequency settings that can be raised, like from 1.2k to 600. Raise all to 6. Make sure your in surround also! Rear speakers arent very loud, but noticeable! Hope that helps you guys!
hi i my main unit was in standby i reset on back blue light flashes i used remote pushed volume but nothing happens still flashes is their a trick to get it to go solid?
I had them working over a year ago and then they stopped working and the link light is blinking and I can’t get the soundbar to do ID SET any suggestions
Not that I know of unfortunately. Like he mentioned it's very misleading when it says wireless rear speakers when it reality they're not. Makes it not as nice looking if you have to use longer speaker wire to connect them and can't say hide it behind your couch or other furniture.
@@user-fw8rd5ud4q , I just ordered rear speakers for my new Samsung Q80 B soundbar as well as a subwoofer. I'm sure the subwoofer will make a huge nice difference but I'm also regretting my rear speakers purchase and they haven't even arrived yet! I was hoping my/the new Samsung soundbar would be enough on it's own especially considering it cost me $499 . Yes it's way better than just the speakers alone on my new Samsung TV and has some nice features. However some I can't use such as Alexa built in on both my tv and soundbar. It wouldn't turn channels up/down, or volume up/down or even turn my TV off/on. I had to go back to Bixby to use those features so I absolutely feel jipped out of a lot of money for an under producing soundbar. Then add the cost of the subwoofer at another $499 and these rear speakers for $250 so all in over $1250 for the setup not including the cost of my new 2022 model 65" tv. I've heard a Lot of people say the rear speakers cut in and out quite frequently. Then add the fact they're not truly wireless, so misleading. Spending money on speakers like this should be worthwhile when infact like you I think I'm going to absolutely find them useless and not worth the hassle. Did you end up keeping yours or was it definitely not worth the purchase? Thanks for your reply 👍
Hi guys, I do have problem with those rear speakers. They stopped working for few days, the blue and red light is flashing. I reconnect them, working for 10seconds and after it is flashing again. I un-plug them for 24hours, but it did not help. Does someone have the same problem ? Or does someone know how to fix it ? THX in advance.
So I got the HW-Q65T/ZA soundbar, subwoofer and wireless rear speaker kit (SWA-8500) all in one box. Subwoofer auto connects just fine. But when connecting the wireless receiver module, the soundbar will not go to ID SET. Manual says to press and hold the UP button for 5 seconds so I have tried that as well as the volume button as your video shows and no matter what soundbar will not going into ID SET. Any ideas?
@@killakam9901 thank you. I found that in a different video and tried and it didn't work. Took the thing back to Best Buy and exchanged and now I'm good!
