I have to say this was sooooo easy to follow and i tried a few others before this one. You explain and present very very well. 10/10 from me and i never comment on many platforms unless i feel i was given a quality product and i definitely have. Thank you 😁😊
I agree 100% with Dawn! I never comment either, but you did your thing with this video! Pure lifesaver, and easy once explained. I had a firestick I connected and then lost remote to. Since then, I switched internet providers. Seems like all the other videos and articles explained as if the remote was just lost but the firestick was still hooked up to the internet. I was so frustrated before finding your video. This video showed me EXACTLY what I needed. Thanks!
You are a true lifesaver. It was very easy to solve this issue without having the remote and wifi change. I like the way you explained and got straight to the point. Thank you so much.
Wow!! Thank-you so much!! I'm 38 years old, I know so little English but my 17 year old son know it perfectly and he didn't know how to do it🙄.. 😲 😱!! Once again thanks alot!!!
Hi @FireTVSticks I have 2nd Gen Firestick and I am not able to connect any wireless network. I did factory reset and it is stuck on "scanning for networks". Any help?
My husband suggested I go to RU-vid to connect our fire stick to a new wifi connection and this is the third video I came across and when I say you are the best everything connected and worked right away thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I'm a new subbie 😊
You are completely amazing! Worked like a dream. Even though I was in a different country with no mobile data, I was able to connect through the hotels Internet and piggyback my hotspot of their Internet. I had given up all hope, and then i came across your video 🎉❤👏🏼
Hi Tanya, Thank you for all your videos. Very helpful. I have a question here, please My firestick keeps showing me that message of network even though I haven't changed my WiFi nor unplugged the firestick. And when I click on Home Network it takes ages to launch or sometimes it just goes blank and I have to switch off the main power and back on. This is really annoying me Any hints please?
@@FireTVSticks I have restarted it many times the thing is that it happens only on my firestick, I have apple box and my laptop both connected all the time with no loss of connection Only firestick is having that issue and when I select restart my fire tv it gets freezed for ages until I switch off the mains

Hey! Thanks for the info. But my Firestick is not getting connected to the newly created Hotspot. It is still showing Home is currently unavailable and thats why firestick app on the phone(which is connected to the hotspot of another phone) too is also not showing up the firestick. PS- I have ensured that the SSID and password of the hotspot is exactly same to the earlier network that my firestick was connected to. I have also tried to replug the firestick. Please suggest what to do in this case.
You can try utilizing the HDMI-CEC function on your TV to see if you can get your TVs remote control to work the Firestick. HDMI-CEC allows devices connected to your TV through HDMI ports to communicate with your TV. This means that with this feature turned on, you may be able to control your Firestick through your TV remote. Some TV manufacturers may not call this feature HDMI-CEC, it could be called SimpLink, EZ-Sync, EasyLink. This option can be found in your TV’s menu, options or settings. If you can’t find it, try searching the web for the model of your TV and “enable HDMI-CEC.” If all else fails & your remote still won’t work, then it unfortunately looks like you’ll have to try and borrow a Fire TV remote from friends/family buy a new one. So pretty much screwed if you can't get the previous network it was on? These should have a some sort of reset on them to remove the previous network connection if your buying one second hand for example
Try picking up your TV remote and using it to control your Firestick. If you have a newer smart TV, your TV remote may work with your Firestick through the HDMI-CEC function. This feature allows devices connected to your TV via HDMI to communicate with your TV remote. You can find the HDMI-CEC option in your TV's menu, settings, or options. Different TV manufacturers may use different names for this function. To enable HDMI-CEC, search online for your TV model and "Enable HDMI-CEC" for instructions. If this works, you can then navigate to your Firestick's Wi-Fi settings and connect to your current Wi-Fi.

Can you not follow the steps in the video to create a hotspot on your Hyundai? I do not have a Hyundai myself, but the steps and the settings should be pretty similar? If not, if they are completely different, without being able to physically take a look at your phone for myself, I would try looking at Google (or other search engine) for how to do this for your particular make and model of phone. Sorry! Thank you for watching 😊👍❤️
Wonderful video Tanya this is right on time. Is there a way to create the mobile hotspot with the name and password from an IPhone ? Thanks for the video

Thank you very much. I have another issue. I never had a fire stick remote but the universal worked fine. I rebutted the TV and now it says that it's searching for my remote and not continue to the menu. I don't have the remote and the app wouldn't start because there was never any fire stick remote connected that why it didn't work here. Do you ha E any other solution? I have universal remote but it's not connecting as well as the app. I'll be happy if you'll have some solution. Thank you
