Mowing is one technique for controlling weeds, grasses and broadleaf plants in. your clover food plot. At times, an herbicide application is required to keep the clover plot flourishing for years to come. I want to share the herbicide application method I use to maintain my clover food plots. The herbicide and surfactant I use is readily available at your local farm store such as Tractor Supply, Rural King.... The same application (ratios of herbicide and surfactant will change with amount of water) can be completed with a 4 gallon backpack sprayer and even with smaller sprayers for smaller sized food plots or spot application where grasses may be heavier in certain areas. Note that if you have chicory in your clover plot this application will kill the chicory. Thanks for watching this video and I hope that it helps you manage your clover food plot.
