I have a 2wd rustler and bought the LCG slash frame. Everything swapped over with out any mods at all. Very easy swap.

How do set it up so I can fit only the slash body on the rustler?

The wheelbase would be off it wouldn't work

Reverse it? Do you mean slash to rustler that video will be out in 2 weeks. Next week will be first video of the trx4 4runner build.

Is there any way to just make the rustler less wide in the back and front?

You could just change the rear arms to make it not as wide but if you're trying to use a slash body the wheelbase is too short

No they aren't the slash arms are wider

What about the 4x4 vxl of the slash and rustler? Is it pretty similar to this one?

The rustler 4x4 and slash 4x4 vxl are pretty easy to do swaps they arent the same as these. If its the lcg slash its mostly the chassis and everything on there. If its the hcg chassis then there would be more work but is still possible

No the wheelbase is too short

There are chassis lengthening brackets for the rustler

Any idea if converting to the lcg slash chassis would be any easier? They look more alike than the hcg. Not sure if it matters though.

It might be but you would have to check part numbers to see everything that is different

Did you have to buy a new receiver box with the tq 2.4?

The receiver box is different between the slash and the rustler so you would have to change it or find a way to mount it
