Hey guys I'm a teen girl from India. Who has recently moved on to 11th grade with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. I'm just here, tryna review all of my concepts that I've learnt way back in 10th grade. And i have to comment today, ..that this is definitely not "one of the best channels", but Undoubtedly the only best ever channel in the entire RU-vid community. Hats off to this professor. My blessings with him & his family. Even as an indian, i find his accent soo simple n easy to understand, same goes for his method of teaching. For the sake of speed for solving the problems related to Molar Mass. I'd recommend a short formula, i.e, No of moles= Mass Given÷ Molar Mass. (You can try in your problems & match the answers) Thank You!

i feel dumb, how do you know which unit goes where? maybe im not parsing the sentence, but how do you know 20g grams goes on bottom, or 40grams on bottom problem i keep having is im not sure which number goes where, my math process is right but not sure to tell which goes where, cancelling i understand

the units you want to convert (ex. g in this video) always come first in the equation. you put them over one (30 g C/1). then you simply put the number with corresponding units underneath the next one. to put it simply, you want your units to cancel diagonally, so you have to have one unit on the top and one on the bottom. hope this helps!

20 g of carbon goes on the top because it’s your given. always start with the given number in the problem. 40g is the conversion factor

I'm not sure how to navigate this topic but with the problems that my chem teacher gives. Example: When nitrogen gas and Oxygen mix, Nitrogen monoxide gas is formed. If you start with 100 moles of Nitrogen gas, how many grams of Nitrogen monoxide did you make?

you only do that when you are going from moles to atoms, not atoms to moles. then you multiply by 6.02x10^23.

5:41 you actually got that question incorrect, it was asking for the moles of silicon in silicon tetra fluoride but you gave a one-step answer to the moles of the entire molecule without using a molar ratio to calculate just the moles of silicon in the whole molecule.
