Paslode still makes and sells the tall gas cartridges. I just bought some today at Home Depot.

The fuel is metered by the red or yellow adapter that you snap onto the cell. All you need is a yellow adapter and fit it to a first fix large cell.

Someone said in the comments that Paslode still make the large cells. Those are the cell with a red valve for use in first fix guns. What is not made clear is Paslode no longer make yellow valve capped large cells for use in second fix guns.

Why not just use the red fuel cell with the yellow cap? It works perfectly if you reuse the Yellow cap
