A neighbor brought me a big pot of chicken noodle soup and some fresh bread when I had my second son. 22 years later that is still the best and most appreciated gift I have ever received.
I am pregnant with my fist and I can totally relate. Forget flowers forget gift baskets bring my family something to eat if you don't cook bring a gift card so that I don't have to cook (or pay for takeout) after having a baby.
I'm telling you. It cannot be topped!! That is the best gift ever. It's so heartfelt. And memorable. Unforgettable too. That sort of kindness can still make you cry 22 years later just because it was the kindness of that time in your life that truly means the world.
At the end of my pregnancy with my son I developed paripartum cardiomyopathy. My heart was very weak after birth. Just one meal would've been such a huge blessing. You are a blessing to these mommas. ❤

Just me & my hubby too. I love it cuz we both are essential workers and one of her recipes makes at least 3 meals for us. It’s so nice after a long hard day to know that you can just pop something in the oven or instapot and just unwind while it’s cooking. I’ve just spent the last 3 days restocking the freezer after quarantine and it’s so satisfying

Mrs. Jamerrill, I might be one of the only single guys that watch your videos but they are inspirational. Because of you I do freezer meals for my sister and I. I don't do quite the scale that you do though. But, doing them has saved us a lot of money because we're not running through drive thru for dinner after work. I can't wait to see what you do next!

I wish I had friends like yall. It was SO HARD being a new mom,and STILL having to walk around,soreness and all,and cooking meals on top of being SO TIRED. If i ever have any friends who give birth,or even any neighbors,this is what I'm going to do for them. Because it's def some of the best stuff you could give as a gift. 💜

Same! It's comfort video. It reminds me of good things in my past where I was helping family or with family helping friends. Such a good feeling! I live by myself now, but sort of want a giant freezer and find myself thinking, maybe the local soup kitchen place could use some pans of baked ziti or tuna casserole...
Cut pieces of cardboard a little larger than your pan, to go between your pans It keeps the pans from getting smashed You can remove them after the pans freeze and reuse them the next time

I so agree! There have been a few nights lately that ive had to give my toddlers some dry cereal for dinner, while i sat in the bathroom and cried with an empty stomach, feeling like such a failure. What id do for a warm meal in those times! I'd be forever grateful and feel so very blessed 💗
Watching you do all this for your family and other new moms has made me appreciate my mom even more. Even though not all of this food is being made just for your family, you stayed up all night and did this. Being a mom comes with so much thankless sacrifice and I can’t wait to hug my mom in the morning and thank her for how much she’s done for me and my siblings even without thanks. Thank you for this and you’re giving me tips I could use for myself in the future when I have my own family!

My friends came over and made over 20 freezer meals from the ingredients I bought when I was eight months pregnant with my first. I totally could not have done it all by myself and we had such a good time together. So blessed by them!

Right after I joined a new church my 1 year old had a surgery. For the next two weeks complete strangers showed up at my door with meals for my family! Truly the best gift!
This is actually great for students too. I tend to make big portions I freeze, depending on what meat is on sale. Now I have some more recipes to add :)
I just had my second baby and I actually find it very relaxing to have my husband watch her while I cook everything because I love to cook and now it’s like my little getaway and I appreciate it 1000 times more.

I just gotta say, I don't have a large family. It's just my husband and I, but I started doing this for us. On a much smaller scale of course, but I literally can make our entire lunch, and dinner, and sometimes breakfasts for 2 months at a time. We have saved hundreds of dollars by not eating out, and the amount of time this saves every day.. I just gotta say thank you! I never would have thought of doing this had I not stumbled on your channel awhile back! You are awesome, and your family is beautiful. Keep up the awesome work!
I’ve had two children and only once has anyone brought food for us after I had a child. It was the BEST thing anyone could do. She made dessert too. I’ll never forget that!
Seriously, you're a blessing to these moms. When you say oh people will be coming by to give them more food, alot of people don't. That etiquette has gone out the door. When I had my son, my friends who were telling people they were gonna be nonstop helping me, um no show. Then my mom went into surgery 9 days after I had my son and was very weak pre surgery, my sister was working and pregnant and doesn't cook. My niece and sister in law where working so was my husband and dad. My dad works from home so he was taking care of my mom and would just stop by and drop off food, since my mom was so medicated she could not be alone so no hate I saw how busy people were so I was surviving on KFC famous bowls that my dad would bring or Mexican restaurant Togo. I would have cried if someone like you brought me food like this. But I actually loved all the lonely days i got to spend with my baby. I was just always craving home cooked meals.
Jammerill I love how kind you are taking the time to do this for other mamas. I remember back when I had my first son and I was very ill on maternity leave from work and it think what an act of kindness it would be for someone to do that. Jamerrill, you are such a kind woman, and a blessing to so many. I wish I had a friend like you just after I had my son. I had terrible postpartum depression that lasted for several months. I couldn’t even hold my own child for 6 weeks. My mom had a friend of mine stay with me just to take care of Sean because I was so bad. Anywho, a friend like you was just what I needed back then. Awe that's so nice to make post-partum meals. ☺️ I seen on the FB Trim group a momma was upset about not having THM specific meals. I replied just be thankful. I battled Post Partum Depression and didn't eat for three days at a time, ect.
I had a crash c-section with my first, and an emergency c-section with my second. I was taking care of a new baby and recovering from (rougher that normal) surgery both times. These meals would have been a God send. Such a great gift to a new mama.
Had no meals for my first two kids, but for my last two I didn't have to touch our freezer meals for a month from all the food ppl brought. Best gift to recieve

This is a great way to be able to give to others. I make healthy snack baskets. Mostly because I am not a cook and do not have the space in my freezer. I have found bringing a fruit bowl and some packaged snacks like nuts and dried fruit is a big help. Things that a mom or toddler could enjoy. Also things not too messy like applesauce pouches if they have kids already. This can be a little expensive but it's great if your too busy to cook and want to still bless others. I have also brought paper plates, bowls, and cups. BIG HIT! I make sure it's paper so it can be composted or burned. This video however inspired me to make bulk peanut butter energy balls for me and the people in my life they could help. I can't burn those... right? I also can make room in my freezer for that! It's so true that if you don't do this ahead of time it won't get done. This can be a blessing to yourself or make you free to bless others with planning ahead. We are all so busy in the US with our commitments and when someone unexpectedly needs a little extra help and love in their life we are not prepared. God bless! You remind me so much of my grandma!!!! She passed away in 2010 and she never made freezer meals, but the way you cook for those you love and care about it wonderful. She had 8 kids in 10 years and would always cook for every single holiday for all her kids, grandkids, and friends. :)

I've said it before, will say it again, you ROCK Mumma!!! And, even a wardrobe change :) lol..plus, as an aside ...gurl, I see you over there in your skinny jeans!!! you are looking fabulous! I know it's hard work, am at it myself, down 70lbs, but 50 more to go by June for surgery, am trying keto to try and get this next 50 kick started, am at one of those dreaded plateaus, I'm like , ok, c'mon body, you got this! Plus a lot of prayer...any and all additional prayers are welcomed and received with grace. God is good, been trying to give it over to him, this surgery can't and won't happen unless I loose 50 lbs ( um, ya, no pressure, lol)...i love these videos so much, they are just sooo satisfying! I tend to cook WAY too much for just my family of 3, and a the one kiddo eats literally nothing I make, and a hubby who could honestly just live on steak and wings...so yeah, I'm whipping up meals for ONE, ha ha...i still find your videos inspiring, uplifting, and full of encouragement to all Mummy's, of big, or small families...it is the encouragement and the affirmation that you give so resoundingly " you can do it" ! ! That is so joyful, and truly moves me. I could watch you wrap pans all day. You make it look so easy. Haha! All of the meals looked so yummy, but that ham made my mouth water. It's been years since I had a baked ham.
It did me too, it was so yummy looking. I just wanted to lay some of that baby on a thick slice of fresh buttered bread, whack some Branston Pickle (UK) and slap another buttered slice of bread on the top and 'get on the outside of that' quick sticks !!!! That momma can cook ! 😋😋😋
ok wow! stumbled on your channel and I am blown away. With 7 kids you had the time to make 40 freezer meals and most of them are for 2 new moms! That's one of the nicest things to do for someone. I am just amazed by your patience to cook all those meals, film, edit and still do life behind the scenes. Girl you have me speechless.
