How To Cook Kimchi Fried Rice ( Quick and Easy ) - Pinoy Style. A Simple Kimchi Rice or Kimchi fried Rice Made of Kimchi ( Fermented Vegetables) and Rice you can also add some Meat like spam or Vegetables.

Ingredients:
2 Cups Leftover Rice / Plain Rice
120 grams Kimchi
1 piece White Onion (small)
3 cloves Garlic
1 Tbsp Onion leeks (optional)
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
Salt
Ground Pepper
Toasted Sesame Seeds
SunnySide Egg (Toppings )
Yield:
2 Servings ( Good for 2 persons )

tried this recipe.. Mine turns out so good. Didnt have onion leeks. Garlic,onion,kimchi,soy sauce, sesame oil, bell peppers. Butter or margarine for sauteing.

On how I make it, instead of soy sauce, using a mix of gochujang and gochugaru and a little salt will give a good kick to the flavor. It also looks redder and more appetizing.

maybe you are using fresh kimchi. I suggest using week old or older kimchi to make it sour not salty

Actually kimchi is salty when freshly made because it hasn't fermented yet, but after 2 days and more, the kimchi will taste sour because of fermentation..I bet you haven't made kimchi..
