Also don't add salt to the water in poached eggs, it will break the egg up, just add the salt after. Also add a bit of vinegar to the water (this helps it cook better you don't really taste it)

@@xXJasmineJadeXx Some modern chefs reckon that it makes very little to no difference,in a short span of time.Lol so take the information with a grain of salt(pun intended.Cooking scrambled eggs at a high heat with made them tougher(this rings true).If you are cooking them in a hurry you can use a high heat for half the cooking process and they still turn out fine,as long as you drop the temp half way through.Hope this helps
