Man I hope this helps my aussie! I swear its like someone gave him ex-lax! Like every two hrs he starts panting and kinda quivering and i let him out in the snow and he just squirts diarrhea! Im on a road trip. I cant figure out if hes car sick which I can hardly believe because he grew up traveling or it was something I gave him! Really the only thing different is hes eating one of his different bags of food and I got him some of those pig skin sticks last week.🤔 Hes been fine eating them before!! He went poop three big times this morning wich was odd but solid poop but now hes just squirting!! I feel so bad for him! He has to go like three times which hardly anything comes out the second and third time.. Hes just explosive! Ive never seen him like this! Hes 2 now. I actually have rice with me and just cooked some, so we will see.🤞
Oh my friend, I hope it helps, too. And I’ve been there. The only thing harder than a road trip with a dog is a road trip with a sick dog. Hoping the rice helps calm things. Hang in there.
You can try adding a little liquid like water, broth, or even milk to it before reheating. Rice tends to dry out, so you’re not alone in this happening. Hope this helps!
Not according to the vets I’ve spoken with or the canine nutrition books I’ve studied. Rice is actually a highly digestible carbohydrate food source for both dogs and cats (not to mention us humans).
