Here's some Myofascial stretching and mobilization that, in turn, might create some space in your joints (Aka 'pops'). This can help to relieve pain, decrease stiffness and unwind tension.

I do that from certain neck stretches. Then again, I’ve had chronic neck pain for 10+ years and always use stretching and cracking to help ease the pain. Body just gets used to the motions we do and eventually can do that motion with ease.

Nicely presented. You are correct in saying that the popping is secondary. Personally, it is painful for me to 'pop' my neck unless my neck and shoulder muscles are relaxed.

1. put your palm on your chin 2. Put fingers on your cheek 3. push your head to the right (don’t do it super fast or you’ll be in a wheelchair) 4. Do it every hour or so

My grandma tried this technique at 2:53 and boy did it work. In fact she has been resting for 2 weeks. I guess she is so relaxed she hasn't had a bath in 2 weeks and she is starting to smell a bit. I noticed a lot of flies in the house. Anyway, thanks for your help.
